Green and White Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation

This silk bridal bouquet recreation was such a vibrant breath of color and loveliness in the middle of a dark and rainy fall. John’s wife had a beautiful bouquet of Hydrangea, Orchids, Calla Lilies and Queen Anne’s Lace, tied off with crisp white ribbon. Take a look!

These flowers were the perfect gift for our anniversary! They turned out amazing! They are beautiful and will be around forever to remind us of our special day.
Thanks Erin!

Wedding Bouquet Preservation Fail

Sadly, I receive emails like this fairly often, “Our fridge broke when we were on our honeymoon and my wife's wedding bouquet died! She was hoping to have it preserved.” Sometimes it’s a fridge mishap or the preservation process doesn’t end up looking as beautiful as anticipated. If you’re in that boat, I can help!

Dustin was the one that sent me that email and I was happy to help him recreate his wife’s beautiful bouquet in time for a Christmas gift. This elegant bouquet was made up of the elegant Gardenia and some greens. Simple and gorgeous! I found some exceptionally realistic fresh touch flowers that were perfect, since they were the focal point!

After our wedding, my wife put her bouquet in our refrigerator because she was hoping to have it preserved. We returned from our honeymoon to a broken fridge and the bouquet had completely rotted! Erin was able to recreate the bouquet beautifully and it’s actually hard to tell that the flowers are not real. Erin is professional, transparent, and a pleasure to work with. I am sure my wife is going to be ecstatic when she receives the bouquet on Christmas. I highly recommend using Love is Blooming!

Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation Stunner

I love all the silk bridal bouquet recreations that I get to make, but there are a few that are always just so darn amazing. When Anthony sent over some photos of his wife’s bouquet, I knew this was going to be one those hall-of-famers for me.

With its Peonies, Ranunculus, Anemone, multiple types of Roses, Thistle, Fern, Lamb’s Ear, and Smilax in such an interesting shape I couldn’t wait to get started on this one. Take a look!

Seriously…so amazing! I wish I could have kept it!

The bouquet was beautiful and spot on! You have a great eye and the bouquet is such a great recreation of the real thing. We have it in a vase on our breakfast table and love seeing it every day. It’s such a great reminder of our wedding day.

Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Fresh Touch Flowers

My absolute favorite flowers to use are Fresh Touch flowers. They look and feel real and they are especially perfect for bridal bouquet recreations in silk flowers. Take a look at the recreation I did for Jerry:

Last Minute Silk Bridal Bouquet

Laura contacted me to make a silk bridal bouquet lickety-split to be there in just two weeks time! She sent me a couple of inspiration photos, but she knew neither one was just right. She wanted to include a Stargazer Lily, some Calla Lilies, and at the last minute we threw in some Lily of the Valley to fill out the bouquet a little more. She also requested that there be some bling, so I used some pretty crystal bead sprays to add some glitz without it overpowering this smaller bouquet. Take a look at the pretty little thing!

Dark Purple Silk Wedding Flowers

Winett contacted me several months ago for her May 2019 wedding. We had lots of time to work on ideas, but she was eager to get it figured it out and check it off the list. So even though I’m writing this in November, her silk wedding flowers have been finished for about a week-Christmas is coming early for Winett!

As you may know, or maybe you don’t, purple is one of the hardest colors to work with. It can border on being pink, or red, or blue. So one of my approaches is to use a variety of shades for both an interesting and non-clashy look.

Winett knew she wanted to incorporate orchids, specifically Dendrobiums, so I hunted until I found the perfect ones. I then made some suggestions to include other orchids, Calla Lilies, Anemone, Sweet Pea and another type of Lily. Winett loves her flowers and so do I!

Bridal bouquet in cascading style and bridesmaids in handtied style.

Winett kept her flowers simple and instead of giving boutonnieres and corsages out, she kept to her main girls: the bridesmaids and the flower girls. Below you can see a bouquet and pomander for her flower girls. We kept the same color scheme but switched up some of the flowers.

Have a tricky color scheme you are working with? Silk flowers offer a wide variety of colors and types and all year round too! Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Silk Flowers

Melody’s original bridal bouquet was stunning. It included a wide variety of flowers, including some picked from her florist’s garden! When you have a wide variety of flowers, it can get a little tricky to have your bridal bouquet recreated in silk flowers. But with Melody’s help we found a list from the florist and I played a little “I Spy” with her photographs and we came up with a design that included almost all the types of flowers and maintained the overall look. See for yourself!

Thistle, Lilies, Veronica, Peony, Dahlia, Astilbe, Queen Ann’es Lace, Sweet Pea, Eucalyptus, Bay Leaves, Rose Greens.

The bouquet arrived in pristine condition and is now displayed beautifully in our living room. Thank you so much for the work that went into it. I love having that tangible reminder of the best day of my life.

Here’s a photo of Melody’s original bouquet- doesn’t she look beautiful and happy?? Her talented photographer was Nicole Anne Photography, check her out if you live in Canada. I love to show side-by-sides to give a sense of the original and the recreation. I was able to find a very light blue satin ribbon (her something blue) to tie off the handle.

Whether your bouquet was lush and layered like Melody’s or simple and classic, a bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers might be the perfect gift or meaningful piece to add to your home decor. Contact me to find out how to have your bridal bouquet recreated today.

Navy and Ivory Silk Wedding Flowers- Part 2

Sometimes brides are on a tight budget and opt out of any “extras” for their wedding. Sometimes brides are on a tight budget and they find me and realize they can actually fit those “extras” in the budget. I tell ya, its’s the magic of silk wedding flowers!

Here’s all the extras that Emilie had me make for her beautiful October wedding.

8 foot garland for the head table: blue roses, ivory roses, baby’s breath, ivy.

Flower girl headpiece: baby’s breath and blue accent flowers.

Candle rings for the Unity Candle: ivy, blue accent flowers, mini ivory roses.

Navy and Ivory Silk Wedding Flowers- Part 1

Local bride Emilie came to me with a pretty clear vision of her silk wedding flowers. Her color scheme was navy and ivory and she knew she wanted roses. We swapped emails with some of her inspiration pictures and I was able to come with designs that very closely matched those. Take a look at what we designed together!

Emilie’s bridal bouquet was a mixture of navy and ivory roses, with some pearls, crystals and greenery mixed in. I finished it off with a layer of navy satin ribbon with a burlap and lace overlay to complement some of the rustic elements she was incorporating in other parts of her wedding decor.

The bridal party included a maid of honor and best man, but they chose to honor many more of their special guests with custom silk flower boutonnieres and corsages.

Groom, Father, Usher Boutonnieres

Attendant and Mothers’ Corsages

Whether you need 15 bouquet and 3 boutonnieres or 3 bouquets and 41 boutonnieres and corsages like Emilie, silk wedding flowers are the most affordable decision you can make for your wedding. And even with that many arrangements, she was still able to fit custom altar arrangements, flower girl crown, cake toppers, and candle rings into her budget. My next blog post will be all about those “extras” that we all want, but we’re not sure they’ll fit into the budget.

Raspberry and Blush Silk Wedding Flowers

Janelle’s dreamy color scheme was so fun to work with! With a wine/raspberry as her main color and blush and rosegold accents, I felt like I had endless possibilities of what to include in her silk wedding flower bouquets.

What we settled on was Dahlia, Roses, Mums, and Peonies with some burgundy Lamb’s Ear and Seeded Eucalyptus. The bridal bouquet also included raspberry Amaranthus for a dramatic edge.

The bridesmaid bouquets were a perfect complement to the bridal bouquet.

Here’s a quick peak at some of the boutonnieres and corsages to coordinate with the bouquets.

I can’t help it, here’s one more of the bridal and bridesmaid bouquet. I’m kind of in love with this modified cascade, it’s modern and eye catching without being too over the top.

Looking for a modern twist on a classic style, silk flowers offer you the ability to see it before your big day. So no surprises when it’s too late to change anything! We can tweak it until it‘s just right without risking the beauty of the flowers. Dusty Miller in Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation

One thing I’ve noticed is the current rise in popularity of non-green greenery! Confused yet? So think of all the extras that don’t happen to be green but add visual interest and texture to your wedding flowers. One of the most popular items to include is either Lamb’s ear or Dusty Miller, which comes in a variety of shapes and colors. For this bridal bouquet I needed the broad leaf variety to recreate this look just perfectly.

David’s bouquet recreation was a very classic style white bouquet of Roses, Hydrangea, Ranunculus and Dusty Miller. That added bit of “greenery” gave a soft touch to the whole bouquet, and also served to break up the white flowers. It was so elegant!

Working with Erin at Love is Blooming was wonderful. The service was top of the line being professional, quick, and very knowledgeable. She was able to easily identify the correct floral arrangement to create from just a few pictures, and the finished product is one that looks fantastic and realistic. I would recommend Love is Blooming for anyone who is interested in recreating an icon piece from their special event or even start with one that will last forever, forgoing cut flowers from the get go. Thank you Erin!

Fall Wedding Bouquet, Boutonniere and Cake Topper Recreation in Silk Flowers

Technically it’s still fall here in Minnesota. But I’m currently looking at snow on the ground and my kids have already made numerous sets of snow angels in the last week. So I’m bringing us back for a hot second to that little glorious bit of fall we had before the white stuff started. Maybe where you are it’s still all red and gold and pretty. This post is a little bit fall and a whole lot of pretty.

Clare contacted me a few months ago to recreate a couple special arrangements for her one year anniversary. She sent over a photo of the original wedding bouquet and boutonniere as well as a photo of her wedding cake. Clare wanted a recreation in silk flowers of just a small cluster of flowers made to match the bouquet and boutonniere to use for their anniversary. With pictures in hand, I got to work.

Here is our lovely couple on their wedding day. You can see the beautiful variety of fall flowers in the bouquet and how that was mirrored in the groom’s boutonniere. There were Sunflowers, Hypericum Berries, orange and red Roses, Seeded Eucalyptus, and fall foliage.

...words cannot express how beautiful they are!! They are even prettier in person if that was possible! I love how you even captured how the sunflower in the center was a little squished in there!! They look exactly like my real ones!! Thank you so so so much!!

We added burlap to both arrangements for that perfect rustic touch.

Fall Silk Bouquet Recreation with Sunflowers

Fall is such a magical time. The leaves are changing, there is cooler weather, and my favorite part: I get to bring out my sweaters! Fall is great for other reasons too: sunflowers, cozy and warm color combinations, and anniversaries. And lots of them.

Trey had me recreate his wife’s beautiful bouquet that had some classic touches of fall. Composed of Sunflowers, Zinnias, Billy Buttons, Fern, Seeded Eucalyptus, and a little green Moss makes this for a bright and sunny fall bouquet. Trey had a good eye for detail, so when it came time for me to wrap the stems, he was able to clue me in on the original material. His wife had it wrapped in blue tulle; it was her “something blue.” Cute, right? Take a look at this awesome silk bouquet recreation!

Bridal Bouquet Recreation with Lilies

Justin’s wife’s bouquet was a simple mix of Lilies, Heather and greenery. The beautiful gold bow really set it apart.

When I sent Justin a preliminary photo of his silk wedding bouquet recreation, he felt like it was missing the Lily buds and enough greenery around the bottom. So with a little tweaking we got it just right. Take a look!

Lilies were a popular flower for recreations in September! Check out last week’s blog post to see another example of a bridal bouquet recreation that incorporated Lilies. Contact me today for a free quote for your bouquet recreation!

Lily Silk Wedding Bouquet Recreation

Jordan emailed me photos of his wife’s beautiful wedding bouquet. He mentioned that he didn’t think it was the most wide variety of flowers, so we worked especially hard to get all those other details just right. Lilies, Alstroemeria and Roses were the only flowers in the bouquet, but a tropical mix of greenery and that amazing bow shaped it up into an awesome bouquet recreation!

Here is that beautiful, tropical beauty of a bouquet! Photos from: Edoo Photography

Erin’s work exceeded my expectations. My wife’s bouquet wasn’t as intricate as some I’ve seen so I was worried that a recreation might not have the “character” of the original, but Erin was able to match so much of the small details that it came out looking just like the real thing. Erin’s turnaround time was great, as was her communication throughout the process. I’m very happy with how it all turned out, as is my wife.

Working with Erin was a great experience. She was very responsive in her communication and was able to recreate my wedding bouquet from several pictures I sent her over email. Her passion and knowledge really showed. When I received my recreated wedding bouquet, I fell in love with it all over again! The flowers were gorgeous and it looked just like my original bouquet. Unique Cascading Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Silk Flowers

Bridal bouquet recreations in silk flowers are always a fun adventure for me. When I receive an email requesting a quote, it’s interesting to see what shows up in the photographs I’m sent. This awesome bouquet for Shane’s wife is a unique cascading bridal bouquet that featured some beautiful colors, textures and lots of Seeded Eucalyptus. You can see from the photos that the flowers were unwrapped on the handle and since I couldn’t really replicate the water containers either, I knew we’d have to make a change. Here’s a look at the recreation and the original.

Hi Erin,
I received the bouquet today. It is magnificent!!

Perfect timing, too, as our anniversary is this Wednesday (and it’s killing me to keep it a secret now that it’s here).

My wife decided to start celebrating early by surprising me with a gift on the weekend, and she mentioned that she has another gift for Wednesday. She was teasing me that she was going to “win” this anniversary. :)

Of course her gifts are great, but she has no idea what she is up against here...she is going to be stunned by this bouquet!

Thanks so much for the amazing work and terrific service!
— Shane | Ohio

The beautiful bouquet had a mix of white Hydrangea, yellow Rose buds, lavender Roses, peach/pink Roses with tons of seeded Eucalyptus. We couldn’t quite tell what the original ribbon was, so I gave Shane a couple of suggestions that would maintain the original style and complement the flowers and he picked what he thought would look good on the bouquet. Here’s a close up of the bow detail.

Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Silk Flowers Review

Erin at Love is Blooming did a great job reproducing my wife’s bridal bouquet in silk flowers for our fourth (silk) wedding anniversary. Erin was very responsive to all my questions, and we communicated seemlessly via email. The turn around time was amazing. The photos of the final product look GREAT, and I can’t wait to see it. I expect to get the silk bouquet two weeks earlier then promised. I will certainly get some big brownie points from my wife for this anniversary gift! Thanks Erin!

Tropical Silk Wedding Bouquet Recreation

Recently I’ve recreated several silk wedding bouquets from tropical weddings. Whether domestic or international, their bouquets couldn’t come back with them. I’m very happy with my bouquet recreation! Erin was amazing to work with and I’d highly recommend her if this is something you are interested in. She responded to my initial inquiry very quickly and verified all information (including costs) up front. I loved how she kept me updated along the way with pictures to make sure I was satisfied with the progress, and got all the little details perfect, including the satin wrap over the stems. I also received it almost a month before she initially estimated. I’ve already recommended her to several of my friends, 5 stars all around! If you want your bouquet recreated definitely use Erin, you won’t be disappointed!
— Heather | North Carolina

Heather had a close up shot of the handle of her bouquet that she sent me. It was awesome because I was able to get that detail just right for her. Sometimes those little things are important too!

Here’s one last look at this stunning bouquet!

Heather was so easy to work with, super responsive in providing feedback and so sweet! This is why I love what I do!
