Revisiting These Jewel Toned Summer Silk Wedding Flowers

I love that even though I created today’s featured wedding flowers 3 years ago, the jewel tone color palette is still as popular as ever! You can mix and match the deep, rich colors and it can work for any season!

I love, love, loved doing these wedding flowers! Bride Catherine gave me her color palette and her permission to get creative with her bouquets, and her arrangements turned out stunning. These jewel toned summer silk wedding flowers were a mix of moody and bright colors with texture and greens for a unique look that worked for her summer wedding.

A huge thanks to these amazing images from their photographer Precious Pics!

Catherine’s handtied style round bridal bouquet was a mix of plum Tea Roses, navy Delphinium, yellow Ranunculus, orange Hydrangea, plum Poppies, orange Ranunculus, burgundy Roses, dusty pink Peonies, Blueberries and mixed greenery.

The bridesmaids carried clutch size bouquets with just a few of the flowers from the bridal bouquet, but in the same loose handtied style. All the bouquets were finished off with burlap wrap on the stems.

I can’t say enough positive things about Love is Blooming. I had always loved the idea of a bold, jewel tone colored bouquet. However the quotes from local florists were wayyy out of our budget. I had almost given up when I came across Love is is Blooming. Erin was very responsive and did such good job listening to what I wanted while also adding in her own experience. The end result was exactly what I had been looking for at a fraction of the cost of a florist. She was even able to create a matching dog collar! I loved that I was able to get picture updates and make any adjustments before getting them and it was one less thing to have to worry about on the big day! Everyone, both guests and venue staff, at the wedding were shocked when they realized they were fake flowers as no one could tell until they were up close. Plus, my bridesmaids were so happy to be able to keep their flowers after the wedding. I am so incredibly grateful and highly recommend Love is Blooming to anyone looking for wedding flowers.
— Catherine | Maryland

The groom’s boutonniere was a burgundy Rose, yellow Ranunculus, a bit of Hydrangea, Blueberries and matching greenery with a twine wrap on the stems.

Catherine had a lot of loved ones surrounding her on her big day and they all had a custom silk flower wedding arrangement. Even her precious pup got a custom silk flower dog collar to wear during the celebration.

Are jewel tones your jam? Love the moodier colors but getting married in the spring or summer? Let’s talk!

Mauve, Terra Cotta, Nude, Champagne, Blush and Berry Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

If you are looking for a unique, non pink, variety of colors palette that stands out, today is the wedding for you! Heather reached out to me with a lovely color palette of mauve, terra cotta, nude, sage, champagne, and navy. We ended up adding in some peach and blush to blend between the bolder tones. Another unique feature is that Heather really wanted to include Bunny tails, a preserved accent that added some softness and texture to the arrangements. Let’s take a look at Heather’s custom silk wedding flowers, photographed by Melissa McKean Photography!

Heather’s bouquet was a modified cascade style based on an inspiration photo that had just a slight cascade to it. The design included: a mix of standard Eucalyptus, Bunny Tails, nude Roses, champagne Peonies, berry Tea roses, blush Roses, toast Roses, mauve Peonies, terra cotta Roses and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus.

The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller handtied style bouquets based on an inspiration photo and were simplified to include a terra cotta Rose, nude Rose, toast Roses, berry Tea Rose, mauve Peony, Bunny Tails and both kinds of eucalyptus.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Erin from Love is Blooming for my wedding flowers, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the entire experience. From start to finish, Erin demonstrated exceptional professionalism, creativity, and a genuine commitment to making my floral vision come to life. One of the standout qualities of Erin’s service was her consistent communication throughout the entire process. At every stage, she provided timely updates, ensuring I was involved in the decision-making process. This level of communication not only put me at ease but also made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. The care Erin took in packaging each arrangement was evident from the moment I received them. Every bouquet, greenery strand, boutonniere, and corsage was meticulously prepared and arrived in perfect condition. It was evident that Erin takes great pride in her work, and her attention to detail truly set her apart. Working with Erin was an absolute breeze. She was not only professional but also personable, making the collaboration feel more like a partnership. She listened attentively to my ideas, offered valuable suggestions, and translated my vision into stunning floral arrangements that exceeded my expectations. The bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, greenery centerpieces, boutonnieres, and the mother of the bride/groom corsages were beautiful. The silk flowers were vibrant and arranged with an artistic touch that added an extra layer of elegance to my wedding. I highly recommend Erin from Love is Blooming to anyone in search of a talented and dedicated silk florist. Her commitment to excellent communication, careful packaging, and outstanding creativity made my wedding floral experience unforgettable. Erin’s expertise and friendly demeanor made her a joy to work with, and I am truly grateful for the beautiful contribution she made to my special day.

Dusty Pink, Nude and White Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Weddings are so romantic, and when you add in some soft colors and florals that remind me of candlelight, it just ups the romance factor even more! Local bride Erica’s colors were champagne and earth tones, and we had a lot of fun talking through options to give her a look that was dreamy and sweet and went with the dresses but stood out, too. Let’s take a look at the beautiful photos from Katy Greseth with Captured Glory Photography of Erica’s big day!

Here’s our very happy and very photogenic couple! Erica’s bouquet was a mix of dusty pink Roses, nude Roses, White Roses, white Seeds and Baby’s Breath, Olive greenery and Seeded Eucalyptus. The style was not a true round ball style but not quite as branch as some handtied styles. It has a classic feel to it with lots of texture and shape, but leaned a little more formal than casual.

I LOVE these champagne bridesmaid dresses! They are incredibly classic in color but I love that they each chose their own style. The bridesmaid bouquets were a simplified version of the bridal bouquet with a little less roundness to them. The greenery provided a good frame around the flowers and made them look so good against the champagne dresses.

Erica also ordered a custom altar arrangement that she wanted to be lush and full to match the setting of her outdoor ceremony. It also incorporated the same mix of flowers and greenery from the bridal bouquet but made to fit in the corner of the natural wood and vine arch at the ceremony site.

Erin was amazing to work with on my wedding flowers! She sent photo updates throughout the process and when I changed my mind about certain flowers she offered alternatives and swapped them out for me in our bouquets. She worked in a timely manner, had great communication and excellent prices. Would definitely use her services again!

Burgundy, White and Green Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Today’s wedding feels like the perfect one to share right before Christmas! The color scheme is classic and the designs work for both a fall wedding, which is when local bride Erika walked down the aisle, or a winter wedding! Let’s take a look at these lovely photos from Agape Moments Photography to see Erika’s burgundy, white and green custom silk wedding flowers.

Here’s our awesome bridal party! The girls were in lovely burgundy dresses that popped against their beautiful natural setting with all that green and also against the white of the flowers. I really love how some of the delicate flowers in Erika’s bouquet accented the delicate lace on the bodice of her amazing dress.

Here’s a closer look at Erika’s modified cascade style silk bridal bouquet. It was composed of white Cabbage Roses, Ranunculus and Stephanotis, burgundy Dahlia and Cabbage Roses, white Seeds and mix of Seeded and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus in an asymmetrical cascade. We finished it off with Antique White satin ribbon for a very bridal, but modern look.

Since the bridesmaids were in burgundy, we decided to feature all the white flowers in their bouquets and use the round handtied shape. It made for a cohesive but different look.

Erika also ordered some bulk greenery and seeds for the centerpieces she was making herself. I supplied her with bundles for each table and she was able to incorporate the greenery and seeds around her floating candles on chargers. It was a nice touch that tied everything together without needing full on floral centerpieces.

Boutonnieres and corsages used the same flowers from the bouquets to match the look over all.

Erin is fantastic to work with! Her intake is thorough, communication is prompt and her work is absolutely gorgeous! I received many compliments on the arrangements, including how realistic they are! I will continue to refer Erin to anyone who asks!

Plum, Lilac and Ivory Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Purple tones in silk wedding flowers can be bright and cheery, but they can also be moody and romantic. Today’s custom silk wedding flowers is a great example of a little bit of both! Samantha’s wedding colors included plum, lilac and ivory with her bridesmaids wearing a lovely shade of lilac/wisteria. Samantha sent me some amazing photos of her wedding day from her photographers Elena and Bogdan from Red Barn Wedding Studio.

Here’s our lovely bride, Samantha! Her cascading bridal bouquet was a mix of lilac Cabbage Roses, ivory Garden Roses, lavender Garden Roses, plum Cosmos and Tea Roses, lavender Forget-Me-Nots, and a mix of greenery.

Look how awesome the colors of the bouquets pop against the bridesmaid dresses! Their round handtied style bridesmaid bouquets had the same mix of flowers as the bridal bouquet.

Erin was amazing! Everything was completely customized to how I wanted it to look and my flowers arrived in plenty of time for my wedding. We got so many compliments on the flowers and they look amazing in our photos!
— Samantha | Illinois

I love these detail shots by Red Barn Wedding Studio! It gives a great close up look at some of the boutonnieres and corsages.

Sunflowers and White Roses Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Welcome back to another addition of “Oh my gosh, that’s so pretty!” I love it when the custom silk wedding flowers I create for a bride end up matching her personality perfectly. Today’s wedding flowers are bubbly, bright, classic, pretty, and fun! This makes it easy to introduce bride Kalie to you because as you’ll see from the photos, she’s all those things too! Let’s take a look at the photos she sent from her photographer Amanda Hansen Photography that you can find on Facebook.

I mean, you get it now right? Look at that smile! Ok, back to the flowers. Kalie’s bouquet was a round handtied style with white Garden Roses Sunflowers, white Baby’s Breath, black Skimmia Berries, small leaf Eucalyptus and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. And if you still weren’t sure how fun she is, take a look at her wedding shoes! Love it!

The bridesmaids carried slightly different bouquets that were round handtied style with just Sunflowers, Baby’s Breath, small leaf and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. I love that they were different so that Kalie’s bouquet stood out more, without being a completely different look. And that gold in the Sunflowers really popped against their black dresses.

I also created two custom altar arrangements to go on the gazebo at their ceremony site. It added a nice touch of color to the all white backdrop, tied in with the bouquets and made for a cohesive look.

Erin was absolutely incredible from the second I contacted her. She was so easy to work with, sweet and kind and extremely detailed. She listened to everything I wanted and suggested the route we go and I was absolutely in love with my flowers. The cost was amazing for the quality! 10/10 recommend!
— Kalie | New York

We can’t forget about our littlest participants! The flower girls each carried mini bouquets and looked like they fit right in with all the grownups in the wedding party. So cute!

Remember those altar arrangements just a few photos ago? I always recommend finding a place that your altar arrangements can do double duty. For Kalie, they had this awesome hoop behind their sweetheart table. Without any decorations you can see how it might just disappear into the background. Ask a friend to help take down your altar arrangement(s) and rehang or place at your reception site and you have instant decor!

Cinderella Blue in Destination Silk Wedding Flowers Part 1- Reveal

Today, I get to share a Disney Princess with you!! Ok, maybe not a real princess from a royal line, but a bride who got to live the princess dream for her wedding day! Bride Alysya contacted me about custom silk wedding flowers for her destination Cinderella blue themed wedding. We didn’t go super traditional, but you’ll see from the photos that her bridal bouquet was both unique and timeless. Let’s take a look at the lovely photos from Jesse Giles Photography of Alysya’s big Disney wedding day!

Here’s our lovely bride Alysya! Her bridal bouquet was a round handtied style bouquet with a mix of ivory Cabbage Roses, white Garden Roses, white Seeds, blue Thistle and Heather and Seeded Eucalyptus. We also brought the blue in with satin ribbon on the handle of the bouquet.

The bridesmaids carried round handtied bouquets with a similar mix of flowers, but we didn’t include the Thistle that was just for Alysya’s bouquet. The touches of blue complemented their dresses perfectly!

My husband and I had a small destination wedding at Disney World and Erin provided our personal floral. We ordered my bouquet, two smaller bouquets for the bridesmaids, the grooms boutonnière, and two boutonnières for the groomsmen. Floral was tricky for our wedding due to Disney’s strict requirements and the fact that we lived in another state. After looking into many options we decided to work with Erin of Love is Blooming and I’m so glad we did! The floral arrangements were so easy to travel with. One reason that silk floral worked better for us was that we had a separate photo session inside the Disney parks two days after our wedding. Most brides that do this have to purchase two bouquets or request to have their real flowers freshened up for a hefty fee. My bouquet didn’t need that! I received many compliments and one of our guests started giving me tips on preserving my flowers when I had to tell her they were silk. The bridesmaid’s bouquets also made great gifts that the bridesmaids were able to keep and I will always be able to keep my own wedding bouquet forever! I highly recommend working with Love is Blooming.
— Alysya | Texas

Burgundy and Navy Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Last week’s post featured a shade of blue that’s coming on the scene and picking up speed. Today, I want to share with you a wedding that features a tried and true combo: burgundy and navy blue! I’ve done quite a few weddings with this combination over the last few years as more and more couples chose navy instead of black for suits and tuxes. And today’s wedding is a great example of that. Let’s take a look at these very pretty images from Beauridge Photography.

Here’s my gorgeous bride Brittany who was so generous to share her pictures with me. Her loose, round handtied style bridal bouquet was a mix of burgundy Roses and Dahlia, navy Ranunculus, white Roses and Baby’s Breath, Lamb’s Ear and Seeded Eucalyptus.

Erin was amazing to work with. The flowers turned out even better than I could have ever imagined! She always stayed in contact with me throughout the process and she was super affordable. Several of my bridesmaids have their flowers displayed in their homes. I love that I can keep my bridal bouquet for years to come. Thank you Erin for everything!
— Brittany | New Jersey

The bridesmaid bouquets were a mix of the same greenery, Baby’s breath and featured on burgundy Dahlia and one navy Ranunculus. It allowed Brittany’s bouquet to stand out even more!

custom-silk-wedding-flowers-bridal-bouquet-burgundy-navy-bridesmaid-bouquets

The groom wore a boutonniere of a burgundy rose, navy Ranunculus and mixed greenery.

Brittany wanted some cake flowers and opted to order a loose assortment of flowers and greens for her baker to place on the cake. It is a great option if you are still decided on a topper or just want to have options!

The bridesmaids wore burgundy which was a great match to the roses. Their bouquets were round handtied style with the same mix of flowers and “greenery.”

These custom silk wedding flowers centered around the colors of navy blue, silver, maroon, emerald and yellow. Early Fall Silk Wedding Flowers on the Mississippi River - Reveal and Review

It’s such an honor when a friend chooses me to create their custom silk wedding flowers. And today, I get to share my friend with you! I have known Shayna and her family for over 15 years, so being asked to create flowers for her early fall wedding on the Mississippi River was a treat for me! Let’s take a look at some of the beautiful images by her very talented photographer, Nicole Krause Photography.

Shayna’s bouquet was a modified cascade style with a mix of lavender Cabbage Roses, blue Hydrangea and Lilacs, white Garden Roses and Lily of the Valley and Lavender. Several of the flowers were chosen because of special people in the family and I thought that was such a sweet touch.

Shayna’s bridesmaids carried round handtied bouquets with a mix of the bridal flowers. The boutonnieres for the bridal party included Roses, Lavender and Hydrangea in simple styles.

Erin knew exactly what I wanted when I didn’t know! She is so kind, and I am so happy she made my wedding flowers and bridal bouquet. Thank you, Erin!
— Shayna | Minnesota

The setting for the ceremony and reception were so naturally beautiful and they had this awesome arch made for their ceremony. I created two altar arrangements to complement the wedding colors and flowers without taking away from the beauty of the surroundings.

Shayna designed her own table decor and purchased bulk quantities of the flowers to arrange in jars with fairy lights and on the tables. It was the perfect touch of color and florals to tie everything together!

A big thanks to Shayna for trusting me to create her custom silk wedding flowers for her special day. White Silk Wedding Flowers with Greenery - Reveal and Review

Savannah contacted me last year to start the design process for her custom white silk wedding flower arrangements with greenery. She sent me a variety of inspiration photos, noting her favorites and included a request for some of her favorite flowers she wanted incorporated. She recently sent me some photos from her big day that I get to share with you! These amazing images were created by Leslie Duffy Photography.

Here’s our happy couple! Savannah’s bouquet was a modified cascade style bridal bouquet with a mix of white Peonies, Ranunculus, Cabbage Roses and Astrantia with Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and a touch of sage greenery. Her bouquet had a classic look that could work with any season and really any style. Savannah’s dress had lots of texture, so the bouquet design needed to match the elegance, but not take away from it! I mean, take a look at the back of that dress!

The bridesmaids carried loose, round, handtied style bouquets with the same mix of flowers and greenery.

I am so happy I went with Love is Blooming! I had a phenomenal experience—from working with Erin and receiving her timely emails, to ordering and paying, to receiving my flowers with tons of time before my wedding. Not to mention they were stunning and looked even better than the inspo photos I sent. This was so easy, stress free and cost effective. I highly recommend!

White and Blush Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

My brides are just the best and send me such amazing photos of their wedding days. Let’s take a look at Melanie’s white and blush custom silk wedding flowers today. Her photographer is the very talented Northern Honey Photography. If you are a Minnesotan and need someone amazing for your wedding day, get in touch with them for your photography needs!

Look at this great looking couple! Melanie was so easy to work with and had a clear vision of her flowers. We stuck with all white for her cascading bridal bouquet. It included Cabbage Roses, Garden Roses, Larkspur, Silver Dollar and Seeded Eucalyptus. It was such a classic style!

Her bridesmaids wore dusty blue and she wanted a touch of blush pink, so we added a couple pink roses into their round handtied bouquets. The groomsmen wore matching blue pink roses for their boutonnieres.

If you are looking for wedding flowers, stop now because you have found your girl! Erin is SERIOUSLY amazing! I showed her my inspiration pictures, and she recreated the exact bouquets I was thinking of! The bouquets looked so real that my mother-in-law even put her corsage in the fridge! She had no idea they weren’t real. The flowers stayed in perfect condition the whole day, and let me tell you, it was super windy. All the bridal party looked great! The flowers used were great quality. Erin is also so flexible and responds quickly! I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. I wish I could give 10/5 stars! I am so happy and grateful for Love Is Blooming!
— Melanie | Minnesota

Cabernet, Blush, and Cream Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Bride Stephanie was a dream to work with last year and she was kind enough to send me some images from her big day! Let’s take a look at these photos of her custom silk bridal bouquet from Marquee Studio.

Stephanie’s bouquet was a mix of blush and wine Peonies, pinkish burgundy Dahlia, cream Dahlia and lots of Eucalyptus and Lamb’s Ear. It was a modified cascade style bouquet that was full, but not overpowering.

I love this picture of the guys! They are holding the bridesmaid bouquets that were the same mix as the bridal bouquet, just in smaller handtied style bouquets.

A very delayed review from our winter wedding because I’ve been so overwhelmed by how beautifully everything turned out and I couldn’t pick favorite photos! Erin was an absolute pleasure to work with. It was the best of both worlds - getting to lean on the expertise of a florist, with the longevity and lower stress (and less price fluctuation) of faux florals. She did an amazing job matching the bridesmaids dress color (azazie cabernet), and suggesting alternate colors for the groomsmen boutonnieres when we didn’t want to use all white flowers. Flowers arrived early and shipped well! Would absolutely recommend!
— Stephanie | New Jersey

White and Green Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Last fall, I did a series on white silk wedding flowers with greenery. I had shared these wedding flowers that I photographed on my dining room table and it just didn’t do them justice! Let’s take a look at Rachel’s delicate white silk flower bouquets in these gorgeous images from Liv Naturally Photography.

Rachel’s bridal bouquet was a round handtied style with Lily of the Valley, Baby’s Breath and Stephanotis with Lamb’s Ear, Olive greenery and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. The we simplified the bridesmaids to be more of a clutch size bouquet with Baby’s Breath, Lily of the Valley, Stephanotis and just a touch of greenery. It was a perfect look to go with their sage green dresses.

Rachel’s mom, Jill, was actually the one I primarily worked with to design and bring Rachel’s vision to life for her Duluth wedding.

Erin was so great to work with. We provided lots of information and pictures of what my daughter wanted for her wedding flowers, and Erin hit it out of the ballpark! She kept us updated, and provided photos along the way, to be sure my daughter was happy with the look. But, when we received them they were so much more beautiful than the pictures depicted. My daughter is petite (read, short :-)) and she didn’t want something that would overwhelm and cover her up too much and Erin really listened and payed attention to all the details. Thank you so much for your part in making my daughter’s wedding such a beautiful day in May!!

Burgundy and Taupe Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

One of the up and coming hot colors is a surprising choice - it’s taupe! It’s a wonderfully warm neutral that goes with a variety of accent colors and adds an unexpected richness to wedding decor. Today, I get to share with you a great example of incorporating taupe into wedding flowers. Tiara had an awesome vision for her custom silk wedding flowers that included texture, neutrals and burgundy. I showed her a variety of options, and she pretty much said “Yes!” to all of them! Let’s take a look at the magazine-worthy images Tiara sent me from the photographer who captured her day so beautifully: Narvold Photography.

Tiara’s modified cascade style bridal bouquet was a mix of taupe and coffee colored Roses, burgundy Roses, Peonies and Calla Lilies, Cynara pods, Thistle, burgundy Amaranthus, sage Fern, mauve Queen Anne’s Lace seeds, Seeded Eucalyptus and beige Heather. It was a STUNNER!

Erin is absolutely fantastic to work with and she created the most beautiful bouquets for my wedding. After sending her a few photos and ideas she was able to visualize and create exactly what I was looking for and more! I highly recommend!
— Tiara | Minnesota

The bridesmaids were wearing beautiful burgundy dresses and carried handtied versions of Tiara’s bouquet. I even made mini bouquets for the flower girls.

Fall Silk Wedding Flowers in the Mountains - Reveal and Review

I am thrilled to be able to share Ally’s beautiful custom silk wedding flowers from her fall wedding near Mt. Hood, Washington. Not only is she stunning, but the backdrop for her wedding is to die for! Take a look at these amazing photos from Terra Lange Photography.

Ally’s bridal bouquet was a modified cascade style with a mix of yellow Peonies, burgundy Peonies, orange Dahlia, orange Cosmos, burgundy berries, sage Fern, twigs, Seeded Eucalyptus, Cynara pods and Magnolia greenery. It was textured and lush and full and perfect for an outdoor wedding.

One of the things I loved about working with Ally is that every idea she had was well thought out. Her bridesmaids were wearing these glamorous velvet-y dresses in 3 different jewel tones, and she wanted simple hoop bouquets to complement them. We choose just a few of the flowers and greens for the gold metal hoop bouquets for a modern but classy take on bridesmaid bouquets.

Not to be left out, her flower girls each carried smaller versions of the hoop bouquets

I was looking for flowers that looked real, and would last forever as I wanted to use them in my home after the wedding. I’m so glad I found love is blooming. They came out absolutely beautifully! She helped me pick flowers and greenery based of my limited knowledge and color scheme. She was very easy to work with and responsive and was also very kind and patient with me. The shipping was timely and the finished product was exactly what I was hoping for. I would definitely hire again.
— Ally | Washington

Ally used a combination of custom silk wedding altar pieces for her unique round altar and fresh fall flowers and pumpkins. The draped fabric added such texture and softness!

Yellow and Blue Silk Wedding Flowers - Review

Caroline’s custom silk wedding flowers in yellow and blue are so classic and bright it felt like a fun thing to share with you in the still snow-y dead of February. With spring around the corner, I thought we could use a little peak at some bright colors.

Her bridal bouquet is a round ball style bouquet with a mix of blue Hydrangea, white and yellow Roses, white Calla Lilies and white Baby’s Breath. You literally can’t go wrong with a bouquet like this!

Erin communicates very clearly throughout the entire order and building process, with pictures of progress. She’s very thoughtful of the bride’s desires. Bouquets and boutonnieres arrived speedily and just as ordered! This perfectly solves my own allergy problem and fragrance sensitivities of some guests!

I simplified and reduced the overall size of the bridesmaid bouquets, including just blue Hydrangea, a few yellow Roses and white Baby’s Breath. Below, you can see a good example of the difference in size of the bridal bouquet and one of the bridesmaid bouquets.

The boutonnieres and corsages incorporated white for the main flowers with yellow and blue accents. Since there was no greenery in the bouquets, we didn’t add any into these arrangements either. Small details like that may not seem like much, but they keep a cohesive look across the board.

Silk Winter Wedding Flowers

Tomorrow is the official first day of winter, but it’s been cold and snowy here in Minnesota for a few weeks already. I shared some more summer-y flowers last week, so I thought I better give custom winter wedding flowers some space on the blog, since there’s not much left of this December!

Meghan hired me to create custom silk wedding flowers for her upcoming New Year’s Eve wedding. I wanted to give her the rich colors of a winter theme without it looking like Christmas. Let’s start with her modified cascade silk bridal bouquet.

Meghan’s bouquet was a mix of burgundy Roses and Peonies, white Ranunculus, a few Pinecones, Cedar boughs, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and gray Dusty Miller. The asymmetrical cascade is going to look good at any angle your photographer decides to shoot from.

The bridesmaid clutch bouquets were a simple mix of a single burgundy Peony, a few Ranunculus, Dusty Miller and a mix of the greenery in that same loose handtied style.

I had the BEST experience working with Erin! I only had the vaguest idea of what I was looking for for my New Year’s Eve wedding and she brought such elegant creativity to my wedding preparations. She was so patient with all my questions, provided photos throughout the process, and was all around a pleasure. Her talent and skill is obvious and she is the most affordable silk flower florist I have encountered. The bouquets were delivered with the utmost care in packaging they look stunningly real. Thank you, Erin!
