I love a good glam wedding, and today’s reveal is totally glam in my opinion! Mercy reached out to me with some ideas for her bouquet and the bridesmaids that incorporated white flowers and greenery. As you’ll see from her photos, her lovely outdoor wedding didn’t need big and flashy, so a simple color scheme was perfect to complement the venue and the attire. After Mercy received her flowers, she decided to personalize her bouquet with some touches of pink, and I love the addition! Let’s take a look at the photos by Beauty and Life Captured of Mercy’s custom silk wedding flowers.
Mercy helped me design her bouquet with a mix of white Calla Lilies, Roses, Phalaenopsis Orchids and Lilies with Ruscus and longs Grass. Her large, loose cascade style bouquet was elegant and a showstopper without tons of color. She also wanted some touches of bling in her bouquet, so I replaced the stamen from the Calla Lillies with some crystals to give it just a touch of sparkle. The picture below also shows the touch of blush Roses that added some softness to the look.
I haven’t done many weddings where the bridesmaid carried a single flower in a clutch bouquet, but I absolutely love the simplicity of it. It allows their dress and their smiles to take center stage, but still complement the bridal bouquet. Mercy’s bridesmaids carried a single large white Calla Lily with antique white ribbon wrapped on the stem with a simple bow.
“Erin is AMAZING! For a cost about half that of “real” flowers you will receive a real to life bouquet! Erin is great at matching pictures and will send you updated photos throughout the process to make sure she is capturing your vision. I loved my bouquet and couldn’t have been more grateful to have worked with Love Is Blooming!”
