Recreating a Bouquet You Love For Your Wedding - Reveal & Review

I’ve had a number of brides find a blog post of mine and fall in love with the look of a bouquet I’ve made for another bride. Today’s bride, Tommy, loved this modified cascade bridal bouquet that I made a few years ago and wanted the same bouquet for herself! I was able to design a few more custom arrangements to match and we had custom silk wedding flowers for her big day! Let’s take a look at a few of the photos Tommy sent me from her photographer, Ron Park Photography.

Tommy’s modified cascade silk bridal bouquet was a mix of Sunflowers, dusty blue Wisteria, white Baby’s Breath, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Succulents and Peacock Feathers. Her daughter carried a small, simplified bouquet of Sunflowers, Baby’s Breath, one Succulent and some Eucalyptus. I really liked how they complemented each other without being matchy-matchy.

The groom’s boutonniere included a Succulent, mini Sunflowers, Baby’s Breath and a touch of the dusty blue Wisteria. I loved that Tommy went with a Succulent as the main “flower” for the boutonniere.

I also got to design and create two custom hair pieces for Tommy and her daughter. We used the same mix of flowers from the bridal bouquet with a touch of smaller leafed greenery and of course those classy Peacock feathers had to make an appearance!

I was searching for examples of sunflowers and peacock feather bouquets and came across Love Is Blooming. I emailed Erin immediately when I saw she had made the exact combination that I was looking for. She was great to work with, very informative and kept me updated on the progress.

Sunflowers and Navy Blue Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

One thing that will never go out of style is sunflowers! They are bright and cheery, they go great with a variety of color palettes, and they look especially great for weddings that include elements from the great outdoors. My bride, Caitlin, sent me some lovely images from David Paul Photography of her summer wedding. Let’s take a look at a great example of using Sunflowers with a mix of navy and white in custom silk wedding flowers!

Caitlin chose a cascading bridal bouquet with a mix of Sunflowers, navy Roses, navy Wisteria, white Calla Lilies, and Ruscus. It was a lush, full bouquet that looked perfect with the backdrop of a green field as she entered the ceremony site!

sunflower-bridal-bouquet-silk-wedding-flowers-corsage-boutonniere

The bridesmaids carried round handtied style bouquet with a mix of navy Roses, Sunflowers, white Callas and Ruscus.

There was a beautiful fireplace as the backdrop for their altar and Caitlin had me design three pieces to coordinate with her bridal bouquet. Along the mantel, I created a long garland with Sunflowers. navy Roses and Wisteria, Calla Lilies and greenery. We didn’t go large with this piece because we needed it to do double duty for the reception area. She also ordered two pieces to sit on the hearth. Instead of making these bouquet style to drop in a vase, they had a flat bottom so they could sit on the ground, on a table top, or anywhere she needed more decor. As you can see below, the versatility of these three custom silk flower arrangements made her dollar stretch and her head table look great!

When ordering cake flowers, there are a few options! You can order a custom floral cake topper, premade clusters for layers, or like Caitlin, you can order loose flowers and greenery for your baker to place on the cake. Their baker did a great job accenting this simple, but classic cake style.

Thank you for contributing to my big day! The arrangements are now decorating my house.

Caitlin had worn a tiara for the ceremony but wanted to switch it up for the reception, so I created a custom floral crown that incorporated her flowers and colors

Sunflowers and White Roses Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Welcome back to another addition of “Oh my gosh, that’s so pretty!” I love it when the custom silk wedding flowers I create for a bride end up matching her personality perfectly. Today’s wedding flowers are bubbly, bright, classic, pretty, and fun! This makes it easy to introduce bride Kalie to you because as you’ll see from the photos, she’s all those things too! Let’s take a look at the photos she sent from her photographer Amanda Hansen Photography that you can find on Facebook.

I mean, you get it now right? Look at that smile! Ok, back to the flowers. Kalie’s bouquet was a round handtied style with white Garden Roses Sunflowers, white Baby’s Breath, black Skimmia Berries, small leaf Eucalyptus and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. And if you still weren’t sure how fun she is, take a look at her wedding shoes! Love it!

The bridesmaids carried slightly different bouquets that were round handtied style with just Sunflowers, Baby’s Breath, small leaf and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. I love that they were different so that Kalie’s bouquet stood out more, without being a completely different look. And that gold in the Sunflowers really popped against their black dresses.

I also created two custom altar arrangements to go on the gazebo at their ceremony site. It added a nice touch of color to the all white backdrop, tied in with the bouquets and made for a cohesive look.

Erin was absolutely incredible from the second I contacted her. She was so easy to work with, sweet and kind and extremely detailed. She listened to everything I wanted and suggested the route we go and I was absolutely in love with my flowers. The cost was amazing for the quality! 10/10 recommend!
— Kalie | New York

We can’t forget about our littlest participants! The flower girls each carried mini bouquets and looked like they fit right in with all the grownups in the wedding party. So cute!

Remember those altar arrangements just a few photos ago? I always recommend finding a place that your altar arrangements can do double duty. For Kalie, they had this awesome hoop behind their sweetheart table. Without any decorations you can see how it might just disappear into the background. Ask a friend to help take down your altar arrangement(s) and rehang or place at your reception site and you have instant decor!

Fall Silk Wedding Flowers with Navy-Reveal

Navy has been a hot color for the last few years, and it’s been a fun addition to custom silk wedding flowers in all seasons! Today’s wedding features navy with some more traditional fall colors-burgundy and gold. Sheldynn’s fall silk wedding flowers were a vibrant mix of colors, a variety of textures and shapes, but overall a really classic look. Let’s take a look at the photos from their talented photographers The Grotheers.

Here’s our happy couple! Sheldynn’s modified cascade bridal bouquet was a mix of Sunflowers, burgundy Peonies, Dahlia and Roses, navy Delphinium and Berries, white Heather and Baby’s Breath, burgundy Amaranthus and Lamb’s Ear and Ruscus for a pop of green. The groom’s boutonniere was a single burgundy Rose bud with Baby’s Breath, berries and Lamb’s Ear.

The bridesmaids were wearing these gorgeous halter dresses that were the perfect complement to the Peonies. Not to mention, they made all the other colors really stand out! Their bouquets were round handtied style with the same mix of flowers and greenery, including that touch of Amaranthus for a unique addition to their bouquets.

Such a classy looking group!

Bold and Bright Spring Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Today’s bride, Kimberly, filled out the Free Bride’s Checklist and also included links to bouquets that had caught her eye. What I noticed right away were the bright colors, varying textures of the flowers and sunflowers! I got a little excited about her designs and sent her a bunch of ideas. Then, I looked at everything a second time and sent her a whole bunch more options. What we landed on is bold, bright and a little spunky. Let’s take a look at the professional wedding photos by Amy Galimore Photography

Kimberly’s bouquet was a loose and lush round handtied style bouquet with sunflowers, purple Hydrangea, magenta Cabbage Roses, orange and pink Ranunculus, blue Prunus, orange Cosmos, blue Dogwood, yellow Freesia, lavender seeds, and light green Roses. You almost have to look at it twice to see everything that’s in there!

The groom’s boutonniere was a mini Sunflower, purple Hydrangea, and pink and orange Ranunculus. We tied it off with twine to have a similar texture to the burlap that all the bouquets were wrapped with.

The lovely bridesmaids wore purple dresses and those bright tones really popped against such a rich backdrop!

Erin did a fantastic job with the flowers for my wedding! She was quick to respond and came up with beautiful combinations! She incorporated everything I asked for and more! Highly recommend!
— Kimberly | South Carolina

Kimberly also wanted to incorporate matching florals to the large arbor for their outdoor ceremony. She opted for two altar arrangements to attach to the sides of the arbor. The swags matched the bridal bouquet flowers on a bed of eucalyptus.

Not sure about specific flower but want a bright, sunny look for your custom silk wedding flowers? Let’s talk about your ideas!

Sunflowers, Coral Pink and White Silk Wedding Flowers-Reveal

I have the sweetest set of wedding photos to share with you today. Caitlin was a local bride who I got to meet and work with and she has the best smile! Her vision for her custom silk wedding flowers included featuring some sunflowers and greenery and a touch of coral pink. She wanted a more natural outdoorsy look to the bouquets to reflect their interests and personalities. And speaking of personality, Caitlin had custom shoes painted to match the wedding flowers!! So without giving too much more away, let’s take a look at these beautiful images from So.Jean Photography of Caitlin’s sunflower, coral pink and white silk wedding flowers.

Caitlin’s bouquet was a loose cascading style bridal bouquet with Sunflowers, white Anemone, Ranunculus and Larkspur, coral pink Lilac, seeded filler, Lamb’s Ear, Silver Dollar and Seeded Eucalyptus. It was lush, full, classic and such a fun design to collaborate on!

This detail shot is awesome and shows those custom shoes off.

The bridesmaids wore sage green dresses in a variety of styles and carried loose handtied round bouquets that had the same mix of flowers and greenery as the bridal bouquet. The boutonnieres were Anemone with a touch of the coral pink Lilac, greens and the groom’s had a mini sunflower to make it stand out a little from the rest of the guys.

Caitlin’s ring bearers were two different ages, so I used mini sunflowers with magnet backings to keep even their littlest ring bearer safe from pins!

I don’t have a whole lot more to say about the flowers, but I had to share these amazing golden hour photos with all of you!

Thanks again to Caitlin for sharing the photos from So.Jean Photography, for being responsive, collaborative and so joyful to work with!

Boho Chic Wedding with Sunflowers, Dusty Blue and Ivory - Reveal

I am in love with the look of today’s featured wedding! Ashley had a specific vision for her wedding flowers and was able to really communicate that well as we hunted for the perfect flowers. Her colors were dusty blue, yellow, greenery and hints of ivory to match her dress. She wanted to incorporate a specific type of Dahlia, some Sunflowers, and Forget-Me-Nots in her cascading style bridal bouquet. I also added in Ranunculus, mini Sunflowers, Queen Anne’s Lace and a variety of greenery for a full, textured bouquet. Thanks to Kassandra Russell at Granite Stag Photography, we get to see some photos from this beautiful wedding day!

One of my favorite details from Ashley’s custom silk wedding flowers actually has nothing to do with me:) She added beautiful macrame wraps to each of the bridal party bouquets. They complemented her amazing lacey, crochet-look dress. This is a great example of how you can customize anything to make your silk wedding flowers completely unique, and completely you!

Here we get a little peak at the custom hair piece made to match Ashley’s bouquet. It pairs great with a veil, but can stand on its own too!

Here’s their awesome bridal party featuring attire in different shades of blue.

The bridesmaids carried round hand tied bouquets with a slightly different mix of flowers. Ashley wanted to incorporate Billy Buttons into their bouquets, and we left out the Dahlia and the Forget-Me-Nots to keep them as special elements for her bouquet. Their clutch style bouquets had a few Ranunculus, Sunflowers and Billy Buttons with the same greenery as the bridal bouquet.

We love our florals! ...I am speechless! They’re beautiful!
— Ashley | Louisiana

The backdrop for their ceremony was stunning. Ashley wanted flowers for the arch that featured the Sunflowers and Dahlias and filled in with greenery. As you can see, they didn’t need to be big and bold because the woods were the main feature!

These simple centerpieces incorporated her flowers and colors in mini bouquets. Ashley had picked out vases on her end, so I created these mini bouquets to work with what she had. Another benefit of silk flowers is that I work with your needs to come up with budget friendly options that are beautiful!

I mean, we gotta show the puppies, right?

I thought this was the cutest shot to end with. Their sweet flower girls had flower crowns with some mini accent flowers and baby’s breath.

Sunflower Silk Wedding Flowers- Reveal

I’m writing this on the official first day of summer and today is July 4th, but I happen to be sharing an example of wedding flowers from a fall wedding, last year. Take note of the fact that these silk bridal and bridesmaid bouquets could easily fit into a summer wedding. The colors are bright and vibrant, with a lush look that could work for either season! These images are by the talented Dayna Quimby Photography.

The bridal bouquet was loose handtied mix of Sunflowers, burgundy Dahlia and Peonies, orange Dahlia and Ranunculus, yellow Heather and touch of navy Delphinium. I added a variety of greenery that worked so well with their outdoor ceremony site. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet. We finished them all off with some burlap wrapped around the stems for a rustic touch.

I absolutely loved the detail on her wedding dress! And this back drop of a beautiful wooded area makes the dresses and flowers really pop!

Thanks again to my awesome bride, for her version of vibrant fall silk wedding flowers and to Dayna Quimby Photography for these lovely images. If you are looking for a different take on fall silk wedding flowers, fill out the Free Bride’s Checklist today!

Dusty Blue and Sunflowers in Custom Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Dusty blue is a hot color right now for silk bridal bouquets, and I’ve mixed it with everything from blush, to burgundy, to gold, to peach! The wedding I’m sharing with you today was a gorgeous outdoor wedding in Florida that was full of texture and color and just so lovely. Take a look at these images from Imely Photography and Video.

Katie’s gorgeous modified cascading silk bridal bouquet was a mix of Sunflowers, dusty blue Roses, ivory mini Cabbage Roses, yellow Astilbe, Queen Anne’s Lace, Fern and Ficus greenery. She wanted some pearl accent so we went with some larger scale pearl picks to just add that little bit of glam to her bouquet. A lovely bouquet for a beautiful bride!

The two bridesmaid bouquets were round handtied style bouquets with the same mix of flowers as the bridal bouquet. We left the pearls out so they were just special to Katie’s bouquet.

Katie had the most amazing venue for her big day. This awesome entryway to the ceremony site had window boxes on either side of the doors. I created small garlands to lay in there with a few of the feature flowers and greenery for accent.

The arbor was a rustic wood piece that I created big, lush corner swag and a smaller vertical piece for the side. Peep those palms leaves in the back-so unique!

Katie had hanging jars for the ends of each row of benches. I created small bouquets for each one and all she had to do was drop it in the jars! And what’s great about pieces like this is that you can use them elsewhere in your décor-scroll down to see how they transferred seamlessly to her reception tables.

I found Erin online looking for wedding flowers. Sunflowers with blue flowers were very rare to find but I ended up coming across a beautiful bouquet that was the colors I wanted but not exactly what I was looking for. When id read more through her page I had reached out and asked for the specifics. I wanted blue flowers and sunflowers with a very small amount of white but more added greenery and if possible somehow added accents of lace and pearls. Erin absolutely hit exactly what i wanted out of the park. She consulted with me while they were being done to make sure i was getting exactly what i wanted (actually better than i ever could have expected) and they came well before the wedding, so no nervous bride! I also did all the decorating for my wedding and the ties on these flowers and the easy drop ins for my mason jars made for an easy experience. I love that i get to keep these beautiful pieces as well and use them now as décor for my home as we couldn’t give them up and found a way to insert them into our lives daily. The fact that they are so tastefully done and not over the top made that easy for us as well. The price was also perfect and well worth it! I wouldn’t change one thing about how beautiful her flowers tied our wedding together! Thank you Erin for such an amazing and easy experience.
— Katie | Florida

A couple of the guys’ boutonnieres.

The cake flowers were small clusters of Sunflowers, dusty blue Roses and accent flowers, Queen Anne’s Lace and greenery. Katie also incorporated some of her own décor that all looked so good together!

Thank you again to Imely Photography for these stunning images and to Katie for being so easy to work with. Does this color palette inspire you? Fill out the Free Bride’s Checklist today for a quote.

Burgundy and Gold Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Since were past spring wedding orders, I thought I’d set the mood and get you thinking ahead to fall! Elsie’s burgundy and gold silk wedding flowers are such a classic combination. You can’t go wrong with Roses and Sunflowers and when the colors are just so perfectly matched for fall-it’s always going to look amazing! Elsie shared her photos with me, by photographer Photos by Red and I get to share them with you today!

Her round ball style bridal bouquet was a mix of burgundy Roses, gold Sunflowers, rhinestones in the Roses and a few clear bead sprays. We also added burlap wrap on the stems, a burlap ruffle around the bottom of the bouquet and a touch of lace and ribbon. Accents like that can set things apart in simple, but elegant ways. The bridesmaids carried round ball style bouquets with the same flowers and stem wrap, but without the rhinestone accents. Scroll to the bottom to see a few detail shots of Elsie’s bouquet.

Erin is absolutely AMAZING!!! I was kinda in a bind because I didn’t want to spend so much on real flowers and I didn’t want to worry about having to make them myself. So one day I was on Google and just happened to come across Love is Blooming and I’m sooooo glad I did! Will definitely recommend to everyone I know who needs flowers!!! Not to mention her prices are so reasonable!!!

We kept all the boutonnieres and corsages on theme with burgundy Roses and mini Sunflowers with twine wrapped on the stem. This is a good option to match the texture, but not the bulk, of burlap.

I wanted to include these photos because A) Elsie is beautiful and her lacey dress is amazing and she’s just so happy in this photo and B) some of the details are worth a second look;)

Burgundy and Gold Silk Wedding Flowers-Rustic Details & Bling

It’s not too often that a rustic themed wedding gets some sparkle added to it. But bride Elsie knew she wanted some elements of both! Her designs featured burgundy Roses and the ever-so-classic Sunflower. The classic round style bouquets showcased both flowers beautifully!

As I mentioned above, Elsie had a rustic theme going, but wanted some bling. I made some suggestions and she sent me a few inspiration photos and we landed on a few elements that made her bridal bouquet a little extra special. We started with a burlap wrap and collar around the base of the bouquet. Elsie also liked the idea of lace and a bit of ribbon, so we added those touches to the stems, over the burlap wrap. And because she also loved the idea of bling, I added some individual rhinestones to each Rose and a few small sprays of clear beads to give it a little extra something.

Not to mention her prices are so reasonable!!!

burgundy-gold-silk-wedding-flowers-custom-bridal-bouquet

The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, but we simplified their stem wrap to just have burlap with a band of lace over the top. The toss bouquet (right) was a cute little clutch that included that added band of burgundy ribbon to look more closely like the wrap on the bridal bouquet.

The boutonnieres and corsages were all made to match the color scheme and overall feel of the bouquets. I used twine for an accent to finish them up, with an added spray of rhinestones for the mothers’ corsages. Here they are all labeled and ready to go.

Sunflower Yellow and Navy Blue Silk Wedding Flowers with Altar Arrangements

I’m convinced that sunflowers, along with roses will always be classic wedding flowers. And there might not be a better complementary color than navy with the deep gold hues of the Sunflowers. These silk wedding flowers are a great example of that color combination. Take a look!

This classic, round style bridal bouquet consisted of white Roses, Sunflowers, navy Ranunculus and white Baby’s Breath.

We simplified the bridesmaid bouquets to be white Hydrangea and Sunflowers so that the bridal bouquet stood out even more. If you are looking for a way to make the bridal bouquet different, but are worried about it not “matching,” this is a great example of how to make all the arrangements work together but different.

The toss bouquet was a mini version of the bridal bouquet with some fun ribbon tails added.

For altar arrangements, I created two mirror-image pieces to hang on her arch. It was mostly greenery for impact, with a few flowers to bring in their color scheme.

The reception venue included a fireplace that they wanted a custom piece to decorate the mantel. I created this garland of white Hydrangea, navy Peonies, white Roses, Sunflowers and mixed greenery.

Sunflowers and Dusty Blue Silk Wedding Flowers

This elopement bridal bouquet inspired several more variations of bouquets and wedding flowers, and I have another to share with you today! Domenique used that silk bouquet as her inspiration, but wanted to add in a few elements to go with her color scheme. She liked the modified cascade style with Sunflowers, Succulents and Eucalyptus, but she wanted to get some dusty blue in there as well so I suggested some dusty blue Wisteria. Later, she decided some Peacock feathers would be the perfect element to up the elegance. We finished off the look with a combination of burlap and lace. Scroll down to read what Domenique had to say about collaborating on her bouquet with me.

Received my bouquet in perfect time. Amazing customer service. Erin really worked with me and always kept me updated on my order. It was really important that I got my order in time and when I got it it was beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for making this part of my wedding process stress free.
— Domenique | California

I made a couple boutonnieres to match the bridal bouquet. We kept them fairly simple with a small sunflower, baby’s breath, greenery and for the groom a sprig of Wisteria buds and a Peacock feather.

The corsages were equally simple with a mini Sunflower and bud, baby’s breath, Wisteria petals, and a small spray of rhinestones.

Thanks to Domenique for working so easily with me to design your custom silk wedding flowers.

Take a look at this joyful couple who got married recently! You may have seen my post a few days ago about Maggie’s bouquet which was inspired by an elopement bouquet I did earlier this year. I decided on silk flowers for my wedding bouquet and boutonniere. I reached out to Erin on her Love Is Blooming website and got a reply right away! I was very impressed with the whole experience. She has a very creative eye and sent updates of the bouquet while it was being created and made sure I was happy with it. Would 100% recommend if you are looking to go the silk flower route. Silk Flowers For Your Wedding Cake

Over the years, I’ve had potential clients looking for budget friendly options to complement their fresh floral decor. I’ve done a variety of weddings where I only did the boutonnieres and corsages, small arrangements to attach to lanterns for centerpieces, a custom floral backdrop, or a silk floral headpiece with pheasant feathers. Not to be left out, cake flowers recently joined that list of fun singleton projects for me.

Brianna sent me some inspiration photos for cake flowers in custom silk wedding flowers and I made some suggestions for matching her sunflower theme. Here’s what I came up with!

Her topper was a mix of a larger sunflower, red Spray Roses, burgundy Baby’s Breath and mixed greenery. I also made two matching smaller clusters to be placed on the layers of her cake. I switched to mini sunflowers for scale and to off set the shape for an asymmetrical look.

Sunflower Modified Cascade Silk Wedding Flowers- Part 2 Reveal & Review

Earlier this week I showed you the photos I took at home. But those are nothing compared to what Ashley sent me. Take a look at these amazing photos by James Erick Photography out of Utah and read what Ashley had to say about working with me and about her silk bridal bouquet.

What a beautiful and happy couple! And a great looking group to stand next to you on your big day!

Can’t recommend her enough!

Erin is absolutely amazing, and so so kind!! I felt annoying asking for so many changes and specifications, but she was always optimistic and happy to help me get my desired looks! I could tell she genuinely cared about me and what i wanted my bouquets and bouts to look like.

I was worried that the silk flowers would be very obviously fake, but oh my god, they’re gorgeous. I didn’t know exactly what i was looking for at first, and she helped me figure out what it was that I wanted.

I loved the constant communication. She worked with me every step of the way, and that helped ease my worries about purchasing silk flowers online. She also works with your budget, which I really appreciated. I can’t recommend her enough. If you’re looking for silk flowers, talk to her! you will NOT regret it. She exceeded my expectations.

Thanks Erin!

Sunflower Modified Cascade Silk Wedding Flowers- Part 1

Ashley’s sunflower themed silk wedding flowers were a fun challenge for me. I’ve done lots of different sunflower themed bouquets (just head over to my blog and do a quick search for more examples), but Ashley wanted a bouquet that had a few more colors mixed in, lots of greenery and to turn a cascade bouquet on its head, quite literally. As you can see below, instead of the traditional vertical tear drop of a cascade, we spread out the bouquet side to side for a very unique take on a cascade bouquet. This is exactly the type of bouquet that fits into my category of “modified cascade.” You can clearly see that it’s not a round bouquet, and not a true cascade. It has a more organic shape with draping elements. It is a showstopper!

The bridal bouquet was a mix of Sunflowers, blueberries, burgundy Mums, white Cosmos, white accent flowers, Seeded Ecualyptus, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Fern. We tied it off with Antique White satin ribbon and left some of the stems exposed for a more modern look.

The bridesmaid bouquets needed to be a matching style without as much volume. We pared back the amount of flowers and added in some navy Delphinium to deepen the color scheme to match their moody burgundy dresses. I kept the composition loose and a little wild to match the look of the bridal bouquet.

Ashley had requested that I make all of the boutonnieres and corsages different from each other, incorporating a variety of greenery and accent flowers in blue, white and burgundy. This was so fun for me, because each one is unique, but stays consistent with the look and feel of her other flowers.

Do you like the idea of unique boutonnieres and corsages? Or maybe you want a cascade that’s, well, not quite a cascade? Silk flowers allow you to have that kind of input! There’s no flipping through catalogs to pick out the same thing 1,000 other brides already picked out.

Check back in a few days to see the reveal of Ashley’s wedding day and hear what she had to say about working with me on her custom silk wedding flowers.

Sunflowers in Silk Bridal Bouquet Wedding Flowers

I know I recently declared this the year of Cascading bridal bouquets, but I have to walk that back a little and also declare it the year of the Sunflower! And since this bouquet is both a cascade style and has sunflowers, it’s extra special! Elisha is from Michigan and saw these maize and blue themed wedding flowers and wanted something similar for her wedding. Her bridal bouquet was a mix of ivory Roses, Sunflowers, blue Apple Blossoms, white Daisies, blue Thistle and Smilax for a touch of green.

Elisha wanted a touch of rustic and had the idea to have the bouquet wrapped with twine, rather than a traditional satin ribbon. It’s a perfect look!

The groom’s boutonniere was an ivory Rose bud, blue Thistle and mini Sunflower. The groomsmen boutonnieres were a mini Sunflower, blue Apple Blossom and Baby’s Breath. The fathers had a smaller version of the groomsmen. The mother’s wrist corsage was a few mini Sunflowers, baby’s breath, greens and navy ribbon. Elisha wanted to continue the rustic theme so the bouts got wrapped in twine too. The mother’s corsage had a touch of blue ribbon for a little more color.
