Boho Chic Wedding with Sunflowers, Dusty Blue and Ivory - Reveal

I am in love with the look of today’s featured wedding! Ashley had a specific vision for her wedding flowers and was able to really communicate that well as we hunted for the perfect flowers. Her colors were dusty blue, yellow, greenery and hints of ivory to match her dress. She wanted to incorporate a specific type of Dahlia, some Sunflowers, and Forget-Me-Nots in her cascading style bridal bouquet. I also added in Ranunculus, mini Sunflowers, Queen Anne’s Lace and a variety of greenery for a full, textured bouquet. Thanks to Kassandra Russell at Granite Stag Photography, we get to see some photos from this beautiful wedding day!

One of my favorite details from Ashley’s custom silk wedding flowers actually has nothing to do with me:) She added beautiful macrame wraps to each of the bridal party bouquets. They complemented her amazing lacey, crochet-look dress. This is a great example of how you can customize anything to make your silk wedding flowers completely unique, and completely you!

Here we get a little peak at the custom hair piece made to match Ashley’s bouquet. It pairs great with a veil, but can stand on its own too!

Here’s their awesome bridal party featuring attire in different shades of blue.

The bridesmaids carried round hand tied bouquets with a slightly different mix of flowers. Ashley wanted to incorporate Billy Buttons into their bouquets, and we left out the Dahlia and the Forget-Me-Nots to keep them as special elements for her bouquet. Their clutch style bouquets had a few Ranunculus, Sunflowers and Billy Buttons with the same greenery as the bridal bouquet.

We love our florals! ...I am speechless! They’re beautiful!
— Ashley | Louisiana

The backdrop for their ceremony was stunning. Ashley wanted flowers for the arch that featured the Sunflowers and Dahlias and filled in with greenery. As you can see, they didn’t need to be big and bold because the woods were the main feature!

These simple centerpieces incorporated her flowers and colors in mini bouquets. Ashley had picked out vases on her end, so I created these mini bouquets to work with what she had. Another benefit of silk flowers is that I work with your needs to come up with budget friendly options that are beautiful!

I mean, we gotta show the puppies, right?

I thought this was the cutest shot to end with. Their sweet flower girls had flower crowns with some mini accent flowers and baby’s breath.

Navy and Gold Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

It’s always great to be a part, as the florist, for such happy occasions. But it’s even more special when it’s family! This summer, I was given the privilege of creating a few special arrangements for the marriage of my brother-in-law to his amazing bride, Melinda. It was a joyful day of celebrating the addition of Melinda and her daughter into our family. Let’s take a look at this navy and gold themed backyard wedding.

Melinda wanted mostly greenery and succulents featured in her modified cascade style bouquet. As we worked through the design, we decided to incorporate some navy roses, lighter blue Forget-me-Nots and added some glam factor with gold mini Palm leaves. Her bouquet was full of texture and movement from the Eucalyptus, Lamb’s Ear, Willow, Fern and Succulents. Their two girls were their wedding party, so I created two mini bouquets featuring a Succulent, Forget-Me-Nots, gold mini Palm and mixed greenery.

Timeless arrangements that you will cherish. Erin has a true talent that will make all your wedding flower dreams come true. My flowers were exactly what I envisioned.
— Melinda | Minnesota

With such an awesome back drop, we kept the altar decorations simple with a swag of mixed greenery and some gold mini Palm accents.

What started out as the groom joking about a balloon arch, turned into a show-stopping entrance to the reception area. I also wanted to show you the amazing cake by Cakes For Your Occasions, who happens to be my Mother-in-Law/the Groom’s mom. If you are local and looking for a cake that’s beautiful to look at and tastes amazing too, check her out!

I had to end with my sweet, adorable and delightful nieces. Aren’t they so joyful?

If you are looking for ways to incorporate florals into your backyard wedding, custom silk wedding flowers could be a great option to enhance your outdoor venue. Contact me today to talk about how I can make that happen for you!

Dusty Pink and Dusty Blue Custom Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Rebecca contacted me for her May wedding and wanted to incorporate some dusty pink wedding flowers to complement her dusty blue bridesmaid dresses. And just like this wedding I featured a few weeks ago, her bridesmaids got to choose a style of dress that they liked. I just love this color combination and can’t wait to share these arrangements with you!

Rebecca wanted to be sure and credit her awesome vendors, so if you are in Minnesota check out her photographer Laura Brenden Photography, makeup by Maggie Jensen (IG: maggiej_makeup), and the venue was Lost Spur Golf and Event Center.

Rebecca’s bouquet was a mix of ivory Cabbage Roses, dusty pink Peonies, dusty pink mini Roses, Lamb’s Ear and standard Eucalyptus in modified cascade style bridal bouquet. This asymmetrical design is a go-to of mine for the simple fact that it looks good from the front AND the side, so if you you forget to hold it a certain way, it’s still going to photograph great.

Look at these beautiful ladies! The bridesmaids carried full round, handtied styled bouquets with the same mix of flowers. The flower girls had little mini bouquets that were just the perfect size.

We absolutely loved the flowers that we got for our wedding day. Erin did a great job keeping us updated and including any ideas that we had. Amazing job and gorgeous flowers!
— Rebecca | Minnesota

Rebecca wanted simple flowers for the head table so I created a swag that laid in front of the bride and groom. It incorporated the same mix of flowers and greenery and was low enough that every one could see the happy couple. I also usually suggest having the bouquets do double duty for reception décor. The photos below show how that works out. Just have your bridesmaids drop their bouquets in a vase along the table when they enter the reception area.

I love these detail shots!

Are you looking for how to incorporate dusty pink and dusty blue together? Let’s talk!

Cabernet, Blush, and Cream Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Bride Stephanie was a dream to work with last year and she was kind enough to send me some images from her big day! Let’s take a look at these photos of her custom silk bridal bouquet from Marquee Studio.

Stephanie’s bouquet was a mix of blush and wine Peonies, pinkish burgundy Dahlia, cream Dahlia and lots of Eucalyptus and Lamb’s Ear. It was a modified cascade style bouquet that was full, but not overpowering.

I love this picture of the guys! They are holding the bridesmaid bouquets that were the same mix as the bridal bouquet, just in smaller handtied style bouquets.

A very delayed review from our winter wedding because I’ve been so overwhelmed by how beautifully everything turned out and I couldn’t pick favorite photos! Erin was an absolute pleasure to work with. It was the best of both worlds - getting to lean on the expertise of a florist, with the longevity and lower stress (and less price fluctuation) of faux florals. She did an amazing job matching the bridesmaids dress color (azazie cabernet), and suggesting alternate colors for the groomsmen boutonnieres when we didn’t want to use all white flowers. Flowers arrived early and shipped well! Would absolutely recommend!
— Stephanie | New Jersey

I love the look of joy on Stephanie’s face here! Thanks again to another wonderful client and for the photos from Marquee Studio.

Sisters' Bridal Bouquet Recreations - Reveal and Review

Bridal Bouquet recreations aren’t just for the gifting husband. I have had sisters, friends, and moms all order them for someone else. I have also had plenty of brides who wanted a bridal bouquet recreation in silk wedding flowers for themselves! Rounine, my lovely customer, fit into two of those categories. She wanted a bridal bouquet recreation for herself and one for her sister! Let's take a look at these very special pieces.

Rounine’s bouquet was a mix of white Roses, Eucalyptus and Seeds in a round handtied style. So classy and elegant!

My sister and I got married really close and we both wanted to preserve our flowers but didn’t know how. I was on google and the website came up, I emailed Erin and hoped she could do it, I was not disappointed. She communicated and sent pictures throughout the process, and it was affordable. I also wanted to surprise my sister with her own bridal bouquet recreation. I received the bouquets on Saturday and my sister happened to be with me. She was so happy with hers, she couldn’t believe how close it was to her actual bouquet. She like me wishes that she knew about love is blooming before her wedding day. We would have just gone with “fake” flowers and be able to keep all of our floral arrangements. We are very happy with the end results and we hope to use them in the future for our anniversary celebrations and preserve them along with other mementos from our wedding. Thank you again for a job well done.

Her sister’s bouquet was a bigger challenge. It had lots of texture, a wider variety of flowers and greens it a very unique shaped bouquet. It included Cymbidium Orchids, Anemone, Thistle, Stock flowers, burgundy Roses, Hypericum Berries, Kangaroo Paw, Queen Anne’s Lace, Eucalyptus, Grass and Bunny Tails.

She did such an amazing job! I am honestly very impressed with the amount of work and details!
— Lyndjy | Georgia

Rounine added the matching groom’s boutonnieres to her order. Each one was just as unique and lovely as the bouquet they matched.

Silk Bridal Bouquet in Purple - Reveal and Review

Today, I get to share with you a truly custom silk bridal bouquet! Sarah contacted me about creating a custom bridal bouquet for her to match the bridesmaid bouquets she already had. I was able to make some suggestions that matched closely and also included some unique elements that would make her bouquet stand out, but also work with what she had.

Sarah’s silk bridal bouquet was a loose, round handtied that was full of beautiful texture and colors. White Garden and Cabbage Roses, lavender Garden Roses, medium purple Ranunculus and cabbage Roses, plum tea Roses, Lavender, white Baby’s Breath, Waxflower and Blueberries. I made it nice and lush with adding a variety of greenery, including: Lamb’s Ear, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Standard Eucalyptus and Ruscus. Her accent color was navy, so she chose a satin navy ribbon to finish off her bouquet.

Erin was wonderful to work with. I was afraid to buy faux flowers online and not get to see the quality of them. I did not want the “fake flower” look. I sent over some bouquets I liked and what I already had. Erin was wonderful with giving advice, listening to my likes and dislikes and sending pictures of ones she put together quickly without charging additional to do so. Her communication was top notch. She responded so fast and in a timely manner. She had it put together and shipped so fast. I absolutely love it and it doesn’t give off that “fake look”. I am super satisfied and definitely recommend.
— Sarah | Ohio

Sarah sent me this photo of her bouquet and one of the bridesmaid bouquets next to each other so you can see how well they work together.

Fall Silk Wedding Flowers in the Mountains - Reveal and Review

I am thrilled to be able to share Ally’s beautiful custom silk wedding flowers from her fall wedding near Mt. Hood, Washington. Not only is she stunning, but the backdrop for her wedding is to die for! Take a look at these amazing photos from Terra Lange Photography.

Ally’s bridal bouquet was a modified cascade style with a mix of yellow Peonies, burgundy Peonies, orange Dahlia, orange Cosmos, burgundy berries, sage Fern, twigs, Seeded Eucalyptus, Cynara pods and Magnolia greenery. It was textured and lush and full and perfect for an outdoor wedding.

One of the things I loved about working with Ally is that every idea she had was well thought out. Her bridesmaids were wearing these glamorous velvet-y dresses in 3 different jewel tones, and she wanted simple hoop bouquets to complement them. We choose just a few of the flowers and greens for the gold metal hoop bouquets for a modern but classy take on bridesmaid bouquets.

Not to be left out, her flower girls each carried smaller versions of the hoop bouquets

I was looking for flowers that looked real, and would last forever as I wanted to use them in my home after the wedding. I’m so glad I found love is blooming. They came out absolutely beautifully! She helped me pick flowers and greenery based of my limited knowledge and color scheme. She was very easy to work with and responsive and was also very kind and patient with me. The shipping was timely and the finished product was exactly what I was hoping for. I would definitely hire again.
— Ally | Washington

Ally used a combination of custom silk wedding altar pieces for her unique round altar and fresh fall flowers and pumpkins. The draped fabric added such texture and softness!

Christmas Gift Bouquet Recreation Review

I know it’s hard to think about Christmas, especially since it’s Valentine’s Day, but maybe you like to plan ahead….call it extreme Christmas shopping! This bouquet recreation was a Christmas gift for Karen’s daughter, and a thoughtful one at that. She sent me a few photos of the bouquet and I got to work!

Kristen’s bouquet was a mix of lavender Roses, cream Roses, Baby’s Breath, lavender Freesia, dark purple Lisianthus, Fern, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and some small accent greenery.

I found Erin on line when looking for someone to reproduce my daughter’s wedding bouquet in silk. She was awesome! She was very responsive and used a collaborative approach to duplicate the exact look of the live floral bouquet. Kristen was thrilled when she opened the Christmas gift holding her silk bouquet. I highly recommend Love is Blooming and Erin!

Bright and Bold Silk Wedding Flowers- Reveal

Here in Minnesota, it’s January. That means a little dark, a lot cold, and snow. I thought I’d share a really bright and bold set of silk wedding flowers with you to bring a little spark to this Monday! Kelsey’s color combination is bursting with brightness, but the unexpected variation in texture is what really sets the bridal bouquet apart. Kelsey contacted me looking for custom silk wedding flowers that were happy and colorful. She gave me some suggestions to go along with the look she had in mind along and a link to her favorite inspiration bouquet. Take a look at what we came up with!

Kelsey is radiating joy in these pictures and I’m so glad to have been able to match that same spirit in her bouquet. Her modified cascade silk bridal bouquet was a mix of magenta Peonies, orange Pincushion Protea, yellow Billy Buttons, peach and blush Roses, bright pink Freesia, white Delphinium, blue Thistle, white Hops, Willow Eucalyptus and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. She liked the idea of ribbon tails in a few colors so we added a little more blue and white to finish off the look.

The bridesmaid bouquets were pared back versions with a smaller mix of those flowers in a clutch style bouquet. They really popped against their blush pink gowns.

These awesome photos were provided by Nick G. who is moving on from his career in photography, but I’m so grateful for his permission to share his beautiful work!

Lavender, Blush and Dusty Blue Silk Wedding Flowers-Reveal and Review

I’ve known Lexi and her family for about 18 years and my husband’s family has known them even longer. I felt incredibly honored to be asked to do silk wedding flowers and her bridal bouquet for her and Austin’s August wedding. Their color scheme was lavender, blush, dusty blue and ivory with pops of greenery. I went a little overboard with sharing their photos, but you’ll see really quickly why. These amazing images, provided by Cameron and Tia, were so fun to scroll through! Check them out if you are in the Minneapolis area!

Here’s our lovely couple Lexi and Austin, and they are clearly in love!

Lexi’s bridal bouquet was a mix of lavender Cabbage Roses, blush Peonies, purple Lilac, Baby’s Breath, ivory Roses, Lavender greenery, dusty blue Thistle and Eucalyptus in a teardrop cascade style bouquet. This bouquet was extra special because Lexi was able to give me a piece from her Mom’s and Grandma’s wedding dresses to wrap the handle of her bouquet.

The bridesmaid bouquets were round handtied style with the same flowers as the bridal bouquet. Lexi also ordered some small, loose flowers for her stylist to put in, the day of the wedding.

The wedding and reception took place at Hidden Meadow and Barn in Pepin, Wisconsin. The ceremony site had this amazing and huge arch. I created 2 large swags and a smaller piece to match the scale of the structure.

Erin was so amazing to work with! I had no idea what I was doing, but she made sure I had all the details necessary for my wedding flowers to make my wedding absolutely beautiful! She had great communication throughout the entire wedding planning process and listened to any feedback I had about my flowers to make sure they were exactly what I wanted. Thank you Erin!
— Alexi | Wisconsin

The arch pieces did double-duty the day of the wedding and after the ceremony were moved to the reception area to decorate this beautiful fireplace.

Lexi didn’t shy away from a little DIY project. She sourced the garlands and vases for the tables and ordered loose stems from me so the whole look was cohesive.

I love this shot of their elegant cake with a custom topper. For this design, Lexi ordered loose flowers to be placed on the cake by the baker. I handed them over to, none other than my Mother-in-Law, designer and baker of this delicious and beautiful wedding cake. If you are in the Minneapolis area, be sure and check out Cakes For Your Occasions. Trust me when I say that every flavor and frosting is delicious, because you know I’ve tried them all;)

Black, White and Blush Silk Wedding Flowers- Part 1

Angela was the sweetest bride to work with! She knew her color scheme and had a few flower suggestions, but she really let me make some creative suggestions and gave me the freedom in designing her bridal bouquet. Her custom silk wedding flowers and bouquets were so soft and romantic and dreamy and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Angela’s loose round handtied style bridal bouquet was a mix of blush pink Peonies, garden Roses, dusty blush pink Anemone, Skimmia berries, white seeds and some mixed greenery. Black can be a touch color to incorporate in the bouquets themselves, so I was excited that she liked my suggestions to bring that into the bouquets with the Skimmia and the Anemone.

The bridesmaid bouquets had a similar composition to the bridal bouquet, only smaller.

The boutonnieres and corsages used a mix of the flowers, colors and greenery for simple, but classically styled personal flowers.

Last is the cake topper! This cutie could be viewed from any side and feature some of the same flowers as the other arrangements, but in a small cluster for the top layer of her cake.

I’m excited to show you photos of this sweet client and her beautiful wedding day later this week. Check back in a few days to see the reveal and hear what Angela had to say about designing and ordering her custom silk wedding flowers.

Her attention to detail was amazing, communication was constant, and shipping was ridiculously fast. I will definitely be recommending her to my buddies to them out of hot water with their wives.

Lavender, White and Navy Bridal Bouquet Recreation

Fifty percent of the time I’m working with husbands looking to surprise their wives for an upcoming anniversary or birthday. The other 50% of the time I’m working with the bride! When I started doing recreations, I never considered that brides would think of treating themselves to a recreation, but I love that they do! Landri contacted me about recreating her gorgeous lavender, white and navy bridal bouquet in custom silk flowers. We emailed back and forth and worked closely to get it just right. Landri even custom ordered the lavender Stock that she found and had them shipped to me to include in her bouquet. This was a group project in which all participants contributed;)

Erin did such an amazing job recreating my bouquet and husband’s boutonnière! They look almost exactly like the original and were very thoughtfully put together! She was very easy to work with and was even willing to incorporate flowers that I had found on my own! She completed them in a very timely manner and even sent me pictures throughout the process to get my input! The bouquet and boutonnière are absolutely beautiful and were exactly what I had imagined! I would definitely recommend Love is Blooming!

Adding On to your Custom Silk Wedding Flowers

Emily had previously ordered all her custom silk wedding flowers through me for her destination wedding. But alas, COVID forced them to forego some of their original plans. So, they did what many other couples are facing and they planned a ceremony and a separate reception for down the road. She reached out to me to talk about adding a swag to her cake along with a custom hair piece. She was sticking with her very classic palette of green and white, so it was no problem at all to match her other flower arrangements.

She wanted a very minimal hair piece with mostly greens.

Whether you already have your silk flowers, or you plan to order fresh flowers, adding on items to complete your wedding day look is no problem. Contact me today to find out how!

Burgundy, Blush, and Dusty Blue Silk Wedding Flowers

It’s still March, and I’m still getting a ton of requests for Burgundy themed custom wedding flowers. Here’s another great example of incorporating Burgundy into silk wedding flowers. This color combo of dusty blue, blush pink, sage green and burgundy is a great example of using burgundy without making the arrangements all dark and moody. These feel light and bright, and that pop of jewel tone adds a nice surprise to these bouquets.

The bridal bouquet was a modified cascade style with blush pink Roses, burgundy Dahlia, ivory Spray Roses, dusty blue Thistle, blush pink Seeds and two kinds of Eucalyptus.

The Maid of Honor bouquet was pared down to have a single burgundy Dahlia, blush Roses, dusty blue Thistle and Eucalyptus. The bridesmaid bouquets (see below) were all the same, but without the burgundy Dahlia. These designs kept everything feeling sames-ies but let the bridal bouquet stand out a little from the rest.

Here’s the cute little toss bouquet that was a mini version of the bridal bouquet.

The boutonnieres and corsages used the same flowers as the bouquets.

If you are worried about a little bit of burgundy making your bouquets too dark, contact me today to talk about design ideas!

Classic Color Palette for Silk Wedding Flowers

These bouquets right here are literally an any-season set of silk wedding flowers! Can you imagine a winter wedding with these? Oh wait, they would work for summer too! Walking down the aisle in emerald green or burgundy for a fall wedding? Yep, these will work for an Autumn aisle walk as well. Spring colors too? Of course! This is such a classic color palette that you cannot go wrong with. It looks classy, sophisticated, romantic, soft, and so bridal!

These round handtied bouquets of white Cabbage and Garden Roses, white Spray Roses, Lamb’s Ear and Eucalyptus are just so lovely!

This bride wanted the boutonnieres to all be similar but different. I mixed up some smaller leafed greenery, seeds and Spray Roses to give a look that matched, but was unique to each arrangement.

Sunflowers and Dusty Blue Silk Wedding Flowers

This elopement bridal bouquet inspired several more variations of bouquets and wedding flowers, and I have another to share with you today! Domenique used that silk bouquet as her inspiration, but wanted to add in a few elements to go with her color scheme. She liked the modified cascade style with Sunflowers, Succulents and Eucalyptus, but she wanted to get some dusty blue in there as well so I suggested some dusty blue Wisteria. Later, she decided some Peacock feathers would be the perfect element to up the elegance. We finished off the look with a combination of burlap and lace. Scroll down to read what Domenique had to say about collaborating on her bouquet with me.

Received my bouquet in perfect time. Amazing customer service. Erin really worked with me and always kept me updated on my order. It was really important that I got my order in time and when I got it it was beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for making this part of my wedding process stress free.
— Domenique | California

I made a couple boutonnieres to match the bridal bouquet. We kept them fairly simple with a small sunflower, baby’s breath, greenery and for the groom a sprig of Wisteria buds and a Peacock feather.

The corsages were equally simple with a mini Sunflower and bud, baby’s breath, Wisteria petals, and a small spray of rhinestones.

Thanks to Domenique for working so easily with me to design your custom silk wedding flowers.

Burgundy and White Silk Wedding Flowers

Earlier this year I waxed poetic about sunflowers, and cascading bridal bouquets, and probably the color purple. But I hereby declare 2020 (besides being a ridiculous year) the year of burgundy wedding flowers. And as I just sent my first 2021 wedding off to it’s happy home, it looks like burgundy may be the color of 2021 as well. Here’s another example of some beautiful burgundy silk wedding flowers for a wedding earlier this fall.

Morgan initially approached me about creating a custom modified cascade style bridal bouquet for herself. She hoped to DIY the rest of her bouquets to save money. But after she saw her show stopping custom bridal bouquet in silk wedding flowers, she came back for a second order that included bridesmaid bouquets and a toss bouquet to match. Take a look at these modern styled bouquets filled with lush greenery and high contrast colors.

The bridal bouquet was a mix of burgundy Peonies, white Roses, Seeded and Blue Eucalyptus, Sage greenery, white Heather, and green Amaranthus. This unique shape, the modified cascade, is becoming more popular as brides are looking for a more modern take on a traditional tear drop cascade.

The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller clutch style bouquets with just a handful of the burgundy Peonies and white Roses. I gave it that same loose look with all that awesome greenery.

Toss bouquets are traditionally smaller than the bridesmaid bouquets. Though there is always the option for a bigger bouquet if you want something more substantial to toss. Morgan opted for a smaller toss bouquet that we set apart with some pretty ribbon tails (left photo). She also decided to order a mini bouquet for her flower girl. It was essentially the same size as the toss bouquet, just without the ribbon tails.

If you are hopping on the burgundy wedding flower train this year, fill out the Free Bride’s Checklist to start the design process.

Navy & Rosewood Silk Wedding Flower Bridal Bouquet

I absolutely loved Ali’s soft romantic color scheme: ivory and white with Rosewood pink and a hint of navy. She loved the idea of a modified cascade bouquet in silk wedding flowers so I chose some greenery that would contribute to a unique shape and style and here’s what we came up with!

The bridal bouquet was a modified cascade shape with ivory Roses, white Spray Roses, white Heather, Baby’s Breath and Rosewood pink Roses. I filled in the bouquet with 3 different varieties of Eucalyptus and tied it off with navy satin ribbon.

Erin was AMAZING to work with! From quick replies, exceptional customer service, to the final product, she was phenomenal! I recommend her a thousand times over! Thank you, Erin!!
— Ali | Minnesota

Ali had a variety of other arrangements that needed to match the same look and feel. She added an honorary arrangement for grandparents who had passed away or wouldn’t be able to attend the wedding. This smaller arrangement was designed to pop into a vase of Ali’s choosing and placed at her ceremony site.

The bridesmaid bouquets (left) had the same mix of flowers as the bridal bouquet, minus the spray roses. The junior bridesmaid and toss bouquets (right) were an even more scaled back version of the bridal bouquet. Still charming though!

Boutonnieres and Corsages can be an important part of your custom silk wedding flowers. Here’s what we came up with for Ali’s boutonnieres and corsages.

Last Minute Elopement Bridal Bouquet and Groom's Boutonniere

Katelyn contacted me in a flurry of changed plans and needing immediate help. Because of COVID they had made the hard decision to postpone their wedding until 2021, but then decided to elope for a destination wedding to the mountains of Washington last minute. She needed a custom bridal bouquet in silk wedding flowers with a matching groom’s boutonniere with less than two weeks until the elopement date. I came up with a design lickety-split and here’s the final product!

The bridal bouquet was an offset modified cascade design. The main color was burgundy, so I added some Button mums and Amaranthus to ivory Roses and a variety of greenery including Seeded Eucalyptus, Lamb’s ear, Hydrangea buds, Eucalyptus and some other more delicate greenery. The groom’s boutonniere was an ivory Rose bud, Button Mum bud and mixed greens tied off with the same Antique White ribbon on the bridal bouquet.
