Round Bridal Bouquet

Christmas Gift Bouquet Recreation Review

I know it’s hard to think about Christmas, especially since it’s Valentine’s Day, but maybe you like to plan ahead….call it extreme Christmas shopping! This bouquet recreation was a Christmas gift for Karen’s daughter, and a thoughtful one at that. She sent me a few photos of the bouquet and I got to work!

Kristen’s bouquet was a mix of lavender Roses, cream Roses, Baby’s Breath, lavender Freesia, dark purple Lisianthus, Fern, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and some small accent greenery.

I found Erin on line when looking for someone to reproduce my daughter’s wedding bouquet in silk. She was awesome! She was very responsive and used a collaborative approach to duplicate the exact look of the live floral bouquet. Kristen was thrilled when she opened the Christmas gift holding her silk bouquet. I highly recommend Love is Blooming and Erin!

Multiple Shades of Purple in Silk Wedding Flowers- Reveal and Review

silk-wedding-flowers-bridal-bouquet-purple

I get to share a few photos from another one of my amazing brides, Felicia! She wanted multiple shades of purple flowers in all her arrangements. We worked closely together to find just the right ones, including: dusty lavender Peonies, plum Tea Roses, bright lavender Ranunculus, Wisteria Ranunculus, and lavender Heather. She loved the idea of some mixed greenery, so I included Seeded Eucalyptus and Lamb’s Ear and then she added a touch of Baby’s Breath for a classy and happy round style bridal bouquet.

silk-wedding-flowers-bridal-bouquet-purple

Felicia opted to have wrist corsages for each of bridesmaids and I loved that idea. Seeing their beautiful dresses, with all the purple lace, I think it was a great way to allow their dresses to take center stage while still incorporating some small floral elements to match the bridal bouquet.

Felicia also ordered two custom altar arrangements to go on her amazing arbor. Is this not an impressive venue??

Erin did an amazing job on my flowers for my wedding day! I love how they turned out. I didn’t have much of an idea to go off of when we started designing my bouquet, I just knew my colors and Erin created such a beautiful bouquet for me. She made beautiful corsages for my bridal party and the boutonnieres were made perfectly as well. She was always so sweet and responded to all my emails and any concerns I had didn’t seem like it was an issue. She had the right answers for me every time. I love, love, love my bouquet and I definitely would recommend her to anyone.

Peach, Coral, and Magenta Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal

I have another lovely wedding to share with you today as we inch our way into the holidays and a time of year that could use some flowery brightness! These coral, peach, and pink silk wedding flowers were fun to design. Take a look at these amazing photos from Danya Chen Photography.

The bridal bouquet was a round handtied style bouquet with Peonies, Ranunculus, and Poppies in different shades of pink, peach, coral and white. I added Silver Dollar Eucalyptus for greenery and made a nice full bridal bouquet!

I really do love this simple style of wedding cakes these days! Some accent flowers that matched the bouquets were added by the baker to incorporate her theme and flowers.

Lavender and White Silk Wedding Flowers with Bling- Review and Reveal

You might remember Emily’s beautiful lavender and white silk wedding flowers from a post a few months ago. I was so happy when she sent me some of the beautiful images from her wedding day. These images were captured by Carson Stivason Studios, check her out on Facebook (@carsonstivasonstudios) or on Instagram (@carson.stivason).

Now that I see Emily’s dress, I can totally understand why she wanted some eye-catching bling in her bouquet. With all those beautiful jewel details, the bouquet has to live up to that amazing dress!

I am extremely happy with the way my flowers turned out. When I was looking for flowers for my wedding, I was having trouble finding some that I like because I can be pretty picky. I am also a college student, so I don’t have a lot of money to spend on my wedding. I’m so glad I found this company! Not only were the prices fair, bur she also worked very closely with me to help me customize my flowers. I’m legally blind, so details can be a little hard for me to work with. I trusted her completely to put together a beautiful arrangement using my colors, and I am very happy with how they turned out. The communication was amazing as well. Not only did I receive pictures throughout the process, but also received quick replies when I reached out. When I physically received the flowers in the mail, I was so impressed by the texture. The flowers seemed so real, which is something I really wanted for my bouquet. Additionally, they were packaged very carefully and neatly. I would highly encourage anyone who is looking for beautiful flowers at a fairly cheap price to order from here!

Jewel Toned Summer Silk Wedding Flowers- Review and Reveal

I love, love, loved doing these wedding flowers! Bride Catherine gave me her color palette and her permission to get creative with her bouquets, and her arrangements turned out stunning. These jewel toned summer silk wedding flowers were a mix of moody and bright colors with texture and greens for a unique look that worked for her summer wedding.

A huge thanks to these amazing images from their photographer Precious Pics!

Catherine’s handtied style round bridal bouquet was a mix of plum Tea Roses, navy Delphinium, yellow Ranunculus, orange Hydrangea, plum Poppies, orange Ranunculus, burgundy Roses, dusty pink Peonies, Blueberries and mixed greenery.

The bridesmaids carried clutch size bouquets with just a few of the flowers from the bridal bouquet, but in the same loose handtied style. All the bouquets were finished off with burlap wrap on the stems.

I can’t say enough positive things about Love is Blooming. I had always loved the idea of a bold, jewel tone colored bouquet. However the quotes from local florists were wayyy out of our budget. I had almost given up when I came across Love is is Blooming. Erin was very responsive and did such good job listening to what I wanted while also adding in her own experience. The end result was exactly what I had been looking for at a fraction of the cost of a florist. She was even able to create a matching dog collar! I loved that I was able to get picture updates and make any adjustments before getting them and it was one less thing to have to worry about on the big day! Everyone, both guests and venue staff, at the wedding were shocked when they realized they were fake flowers as no one could tell until they were up close. Plus, my bridesmaids were so happy to be able to keep their flowers after the wedding. I am so incredibly grateful and highly recommend Love is Blooming to anyone looking for wedding flowers.
— Catherine | Maryland

The groom’s boutonniere was a burgundy Rose, yellow Ranunculus, a bit of Hydrangea, Blueberries and matching greenery with a twine wrap on the stems.

Catherine had a lot of loved ones surrounding her on her big day and they all had a custom silk flower wedding arrangement. Even her precious pup got a custom silk flower dog collar to wear during the celebration.

Are jewel tones your jam? Love the moodier colors but getting married in the spring or summer? Let’s talk!

Red and Ivory Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation

Becky contacted me about recreating her beautiful bridal bouquet of ivory Tulips, Baby’s Breath and baby red Roses. This full and luscious bouquet had a lot of greenery and was quite large. The best part about this kind of work is that I can customize your recreation any way you want! Becky wanted to display it in her living room in a vase next to one of their wedding photographs. I came up with a plan to reduce the overall size of the bouquet but only by a small amount so that it wasn’t too large for what she had in mind.

Photos of the original bouquet are by the very talented Brian Anthony Photography. Check him out if you are in the Greensboro area!

My bouquet is absolutely beautiful. Having the recreation takes the sting away that the beautiful flowers I had on my wedding day are long gone. I highly recommend Erin to recreate your bouquet!
— Becky | North Carolina
custom-bridal-bouquet-recreation-wedding-flowers-anniversary-gift

One of the things Becky loved about her bouquet was the ivory ribbon wrap and the long tails. Since she is displaying this on a table top, I cut them a bit shorter than the original, but kept the same notched detail on the ends of the tails. It looks so classy!

Burgundy and Gold Silk Wedding Flowers-Rustic Details & Bling

It’s not too often that a rustic themed wedding gets some sparkle added to it. But bride Elsie knew she wanted some elements of both! Her designs featured burgundy Roses and the ever-so-classic Sunflower. The classic round style bouquets showcased both flowers beautifully!

As I mentioned above, Elsie had a rustic theme going, but wanted some bling. I made some suggestions and she sent me a few inspiration photos and we landed on a few elements that made her bridal bouquet a little extra special. We started with a burlap wrap and collar around the base of the bouquet. Elsie also liked the idea of lace and a bit of ribbon, so we added those touches to the stems, over the burlap wrap. And because she also loved the idea of bling, I added some individual rhinestones to each Rose and a few small sprays of clear beads to give it a little extra something.

Erin is absolutely AMAZING!!! I was kinda in a bind because I didn’t want to spend so much on real flowers and I didn’t want to worry about having to make them myself. So one day I was on Google and just happened to come across Love is Blooming and I’m sooooo glad I did! Will definitely recommend to everyone I know who needs flowers!!! Not to mention her prices are so reasonable!!!
— Elsie | Kansas
burgundy-gold-silk-wedding-flowers-custom-bridal-bouquet

The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, but we simplified their stem wrap to just have burlap with a band of lace over the top. The toss bouquet (right) was a cute little clutch that included that added band of burgundy ribbon to look more closely like the wrap on the bridal bouquet.

The boutonnieres and corsages were all made to match the color scheme and overall feel of the bouquets. I used twine for an accent to finish them up, with an added spray of rhinestones for the mothers’ corsages. Here they are all labeled and ready to go.

White Silk Wedding Flowers with Greenery- Part 2 Larger Scale Blooms

Earlier this week, I showed you some white silk wedding flowers with greenery that had a delicate, almost lacy look. Today is about impact and contrast! These weddings flowers and bridal bouquet used larger scale blooms to fill out the bouquets. The added greenery really stood out against all the white for an eye-catching look!

The bridal bouquet was a round ball style bouquet with white Roses and Tulips and a mix of Columnea Fern, Ficus and Rose Greens.

The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller versions of the bridal bouquet. All bouquets were wrapped with white satin ribbon.

The toss bouquet was a clutch size version of the bridal bouquet with just a few roses and tulips with a touch of greenery.

The boutonnieres were very clean and classy white tulips and spray roses with the same greenery and ribbon.

White Silk Wedding Flowers with Greenery- Part 1 Delicate Blooms

This week, I want to feature a couple of weddings where the main event was white wedding flowers and greenery. Today, we’re going the delicate route! This bride knew she wanted a mix of Baby’s Breath, Lily of the Valley and Greenery. I suggested we add in a few Stephanotis to mix up the sizing of flowers but still keeping it smaller scaled. She liked my greenery suggestions of Olive greens, Lamb’s Ear and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. Here’s the silk bridal bouquet:

For the bridesmaid bouquets, she wanted to reduce the size, and composition. They were made up of Baby’s Breath, Stephanotis and just a few leaves of greenery.

The toss bouquet was a smaller version of the bridal bouquet with some ribbon tails. The boutonnieres and corsages incorporated all our pretty little buds in different combinations. We did add a spray rose to the mother’s pin on corsages to make them a little more substantial.

Check back later this week to see another example of white silk wedding flowers with greenery!

Sunflower Yellow and Navy Blue Silk Wedding Flowers with Altar Arrangements

I’m convinced that sunflowers, along with roses will always be classic wedding flowers. And there might not be a better complementary color than navy with the deep gold hues of the Sunflowers. These silk wedding flowers are a great example of that color combination. Take a look!

This classic, round style bridal bouquet consisted of white Roses, Sunflowers, navy Ranunculus and white Baby’s Breath.

We simplified the bridesmaid bouquets to be white Hydrangea and Sunflowers so that the bridal bouquet stood out even more. If you are looking for a way to make the bridal bouquet different, but are worried about it not “matching,” this is a great example of how to make all the arrangements work together but different.

The toss bouquet was a mini version of the bridal bouquet with some fun ribbon tails added.

For altar arrangements, I created two mirror-image pieces to hang on her arch. It was mostly greenery for impact, with a few flowers to bring in their color scheme.

The reception venue included a fireplace that they wanted a custom piece to decorate the mantel. I created this garland of white Hydrangea, navy Peonies, white Roses, Sunflowers and mixed greenery.

If you need decor for all aspects of your wedding day, and want a cohesive look, silk flowers are a great option. You get to help design the arrangements, see them in progress and have them ahead of schedule. If that appeals to you, contact me today about your wedding needs!

Lavender, White and Silver Silk Wedding Flowers with Bling

If you are looking for some silk wedding flowers and bouquets with a touch of bling, these are the photos for you! Emily’s color palette of lavender, white and silver were easy enough to work with, but I wanted to add a little extra ‘Oomph’ to her arrangements with some bling. Rather than just a few rhinestones here and there, I wanted it to be a statement. Take a look at what we designed together!

The bridal bouquet was a mix of lavender Roses, white Tulips, Baby’s Breath, and a little brighter lavender Spray Roses.

To give it a little more dimension, I add in some glittery, blingy branches to add texture, height and take it to the next level!

The bridesmaid bouquet was the same mix of flowers, but smaller and without the bling.

The flowers seemed so real, which is something I really wanted for my bouquet. Additionally, they were packaged very carefully and neatly. I would highly encourage anyone who is looking for beautiful flowers at a fairly cheap price to order from here!
— Emily | West Virginia

There were two boutonnieres, the groom and groomsman where I incorporated a small piece of the glitter branch in the groom’s to match the bridal bouquet.

Emily also wanted a few clusters of flowers on ribbon loops for her aisle arrangements. These are a great, and cost effective way to tie all your looks together, add a little more to your decor, but not break the budget.

Tropical Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation & Review

Rounding out the end of Recreation Week is this stunner of a bouquet from a Mexico destination wedding. One of the great things about going somewhere is you get the benefit of all the special things of that location. In this case, this luscious tropical bouquet. What you give up is not being able to bring back your flowers to preserve. Kelsey’s bouquet had to be left behind, so she contacted me just a few days after getting home from her wedding to ask about having her bouquet recreated in silk wedding flowers. Take a look at the end product!

Lavender, White and Navy Bridal Bouquet Recreation

Fifty percent of the time I’m working with husbands looking to surprise their wives for an upcoming anniversary or birthday. The other 50% of the time I’m working with the bride! When I started doing recreations, I never considered that brides would think of treating themselves to a recreation, but I love that they do! Landri contacted me about recreating her gorgeous lavender, white and navy bridal bouquet in custom silk flowers. We emailed back and forth and worked closely to get it just right. Landri even custom ordered the lavender Stock that she found and had them shipped to me to include in her bouquet. This was a group project in which all participants contributed;)

The original bouquet, photographed by Photo by Emilie, was a lush mix of Roses, Ranunculus, Stock, Lavender, Eucalyptus, and Succulents.

Erin did such an amazing job recreating my bouquet and husband’s boutonnière! They look almost exactly like the original and were very thoughtfully put together! She was very easy to work with and was even willing to incorporate flowers that I had found on my own! She completed them in a very timely manner and even sent me pictures throughout the process to get my input! The bouquet and boutonnière are absolutely beautiful and were exactly what I had imagined! I would definitely recommend Love is Blooming!

Peach, Pink, Blue and Yellow Silk Wedding Flowers - Part 2 Reveal & Review

There is so very little to say about these photos, except be sure and check out Caroline’s amazing photographer Taylor Sakata Photography and figure out how to hire her right now. Also, surround yourself with your closest friends, wear a dress you love, fix your hair up just right, look adoringly at your husband-to-be, and hold my flowers for at least few pictures before emailing them to me. So I’ve said enough, here are Caroline’s custom silk wedding flowers for her spring Georgia wedding.

When I first started planning my wedding, I began searching Google for silk flower options. I had not heard of anyone who had gone this route, but I loved the idea of being able to keep my wedding bouquet forever. I was a little hesitant to order flowers online from someone in a different state, but I was immediately at ease after my first communication with Erin. She made each step of the process so easy and fun, and I appreciated that she always asked for my feedback and was willing to adjust to make my flowers perfect. They turned out better than I could have imagined! Not only was her pricing very reasonable, she also had my flowers done earlier than expected. It is so nice knowing that this aspect of my wedding planning is taken care of. I would recommend her over any flower shop any day. Erin’s customer service and quality of work are hard to beat.

Peach, Pink, Blue, and Yellow Silk Wedding Flowers - Part 1

I love a spring bridal bouquet in silk wedding flowers. This one was especially fun to design. Caroline gave me some creative leeway in designing her custom bouquets. She knew she wanted peach, pink, blue, and yellow then let me figure out the rest. I’m excited that later this week, I can share a few of her amazing photos!

The bridal bouquet was a round handtied style that was loose and whimsical. It incorporated peach Cabbage Roses and Poppies, pink Cosmos, blue Heather and yellow Billy Buttons. I suggested some Lamb’s Ear for a soft touch of “greenery” and Caroline was game. You can’t tell from the photos but this bouquet not only looked bouncy and light and fun, but it had some movement to it that made it even more real looking!

The bridesmaid bouquets were a similar mix of flowers, but I switched out the large Poppies for smaller ones to account for the smaller bouquet size.

The boutonnieres and corsages had the same mix of bright colors and interesting textures. Each one a little different from the other, but all matched the theme and color scheme of the bouquets.

Check back later this week to see our beautiful bride Caroline and her beautiful custom silk wedding flowers!

Yellow and White Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation

Today’s reveal is a bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers from Jolyn. She contacted me about recreating her bouquet. They had tried to preserve it, but after “8 years and 3 moves” it didn’t hold up as well as they’d hoped. Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the recreation and Jolyn’s original bouquet.

custom-silk-bridal-bouquet-recreation-yellow-wedding-flowers

Made of white Garden and Spray Roses, white Stephanotis, yellow Garden Roses and soft yellow Lilies, Jolyn’s bouquet was a classic round handtied style bouquet.

This is perfect! I’m so very happy to have this beautiful and lasting reproduction of my wedding bouquet! Thank you so very much - you did an excellent job and so quickly!!

*Actual* Valentine's Day Silk Wedding Flowers

Earlier this week, I gave one example of Valentine’s Day silk wedding flowers. Today is another example with a similar color palette but a completely different style. Enjoy!

This round ball bridal bouquet was a mix of magenta Garden and Cabbage Roses and Calla Lilies, white Garden Roses and Peonies, dusty pink Mums, and few stems of Dendrobium Orchids. She wanted some pearls added in so I put together clusters of 3-5 larger scale pearls and placed them throughout the bouquet. Their accent color was silver, so that’s the color we went with on the handle of the bouquets.

She chose a mini bouquet for the flower girl and I used the same mix as the bridal bouquet, just much smaller.

This next photo shows a few of the “extras” she ordered. There were two cake clusters for her one layer wedding Cheesecake (yum!). These were designed to be different and could go on two opposite corners, one on top, one around the edge or wherever she wanted them to go. The bottom arrangement was a swag for her unity candle table. The great thing about this piece is that is can easily be picked up after the ceremony and used somewhere in the reception area; the food, gift, guestbook, or head table would all be great places for this matching custom silk wedding flower arrangement to decorate.

We kept the boutonnieres and corsages simple with white Roses and magenta accents with Lamb’s Ear for the boutonnieres and a fluffier white Ranunculus for the corsages. You’ll notice the differences are ever so slight between the boutonnieres, but they are enough to be able differentiate between the groom, groomsmen and father bouts. This bride wanted the mothers to have an option of pin or wrist corsage so she ordered one of each! I added a small spray of pearls for accent to match the bridal bouquet for a nice touch of shine.

Is your wedding around a holiday but you don’t want to go the cliche’ route? Or maybe you do, but not overboard! I can help! Fill out the Free Bride’s Checklist to get a quote for your upcoming wedding!

Blue, White and Rosegold Silk Wedding Flowers with Pergola Arrangement

Rachelle and I worked to come up with the perfect design for her 2021 winter wedding they were hosting in their beautiful Arizona backyard….record scratch…”Wait, winter 2021?! That hasn’t even happened yet Erin!” Here’s the skinny, Rachelle emailed me a few weeks after finalizing her design plan with some circumstances that expedited our timeline. So instead of a December wedding, we were now planning for an April wedding! But you know what, I didn’t even break out into one drop of sweat. I had the silk wedding flowers, and I was ready to go!

This intimate backyard wedding would be small, but Rachelle still wanted beautiful arrangements for their loved ones and for the amazing Pergola that would be the location of where they were going to exchange their vows. Take a look at her custom arrangements that feature blue, white, and rosegold in the designs!

The bridal bouquet was a combination of white Roses, white and blue Picasso Calla Lilies, navy Peonies, Dusty Miller, and some glittery rosegold twigs.

The Maid of Honor silk bouquet featured the same flowers, but a single navy Peony to bring the size down. I tied both bouquets off with a shimmery, sheer Champagne ribbon that looked amazing with the rosegold twigs.

Rachelle ordered just a few boutonnieres and corsages for the bridal party and parents. Everything matching in colors, flowers, and ribbon.

Remember that pergola I mentioned in the intro? Take a look at the show stopping altar arrangement pieces we designed together to go on the top corner and the opposite upright beam of the pergola. These swags incorporated all the same flowers on a base of mixed greens and Eucalyptus.

I know you didn’t ask for the moral of the story, but here it is: life throws you curve balls and silk flowers keep you in the batters box! And if sportsball isn’t your type of metaphor: if a major/minor life change results in wedding plans that have to change, don’t spend one minute worrying about whether you can still get the custom silk wedding flowers of your dreams, because the answer is YES!

Shades of Pink: Raspberry, Dusty Rose and Blush Silk Wedding Flowers

Sarah sent over several inspiration photos with her quote request. Most of them had all white/cream flowers with a hint of blush that would have been beautiful against her bridesmaids dusty blue gowns. But she couldn’t quite decide on a style until just the right inspiration photo came along. Instead of just a hint of blush we amped up the pink factor and included some raspberry, dusty rose, blush, and ivory with a variety of Eucalyptus in more of the dusty green and blue tones. Take a look at these custom silk wedding flowers!

The bouquets were all a round handtied style with the bridesmaid bouquets made as smaller versions of the bridal bouquet. They all included mini raspberry Cabbage Roses, dusty pink Curled Roses, ivory Garden Roses, blush Tea Roses, blush seeds, Seeded Eucalyptus, and Willow.

The boutonnieres incorporated her main colors and greenery and the pin on corsages were mainly ivory with hints of blush seeds.

If you have some inspiration photos but you haven’t quite landed on an exact design, send them my way and let’s talk about how to combine your favorite looks for a truly custom set of silk wedding flowers.
