Round Bridal Bouquet

Classic Color Palette for Silk Wedding Flowers

These bouquets right here are literally an any-season set of silk wedding flowers! Can you imagine a winter wedding with these? Oh wait, they would work for summer too! Walking down the aisle in emerald green or burgundy for a fall wedding? Yep, these will work for an Autumn aisle walk as well. Spring colors too? Of course! This is such a classic color palette that you cannot go wrong with. It looks classy, sophisticated, romantic, soft, and so bridal!

These round handtied bouquets of white Cabbage and Garden Roses, white Spray Roses, Lamb’s Ear and Eucalyptus are just so lovely!

This bride wanted the boutonnieres to all be similar but different. I mixed up some smaller leafed greenery, seeds and Spray Roses to give a look that matched, but was unique to each arrangement.

Burgundy and Blush Fall Silk Wedding Flowers

One interesting thing I encountered in 2020 was having someone order custom silk wedding flowers and bridal bouquets on behalf of the bride! Mothers, sisters, even friends have been so kind and helpful in taking this off the plate of their bride-to-be. This year has been a handful and having someone able to do that for you must be such a gift!

Here’s just one of those orders inspired by photos sent to me by the friend of the bride. It’s once again, a popular color combo from 2020: burgundy and blush for fall silk wedding flowers!

The bridal bouquet was a mix of burgundy Peonies and Roses, blush Roses, ivory Ranunculus and Roses and a fun mix of greens that incorporated both brighter greens and dustier greens.

The bridesmaid bouquets were the same round hand tied style with just a single burgundy Peony, blush Roses, ivory Ranunculus and Roses and mixed greens.

We kept the boutonnieres simple with Roses and greenery and just a hint of blush in the Groom’s boutonniere. The pin on corsages were a single open ivory Rose with the same hint of blush and some Greenery. Everything was finished off with some Champagne colored ribbon that blended the blush and the ivory so nicely and gave it a classy color palette for her fall wedding.

Are you ordering for a friend, your sister or daughter? Custom silk wedding flowers make it incredibly easy to see flower ideas, watch the design process happen and make sure your bride-to-be gets exactly what she’s hoping for. Contact me today for more details!

Rustic Burgundy and Navy Silk Wedding Flowers - Part 2 Reveal and Review

As promised! Here is the big reveal of Paige’s October wedding with her custom silk bridal bouquet. These amazing photos are provided by the very talented Jenny B. Photography. Be sure and check her out if you are an East Coaster!

I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for the amazing flowers and bouquets you did for mine and David’s wedding on October 30th. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the bouquets were. One of David’s cousins was talking with me and telling me how much she loved my flowers, and I told her they aren’t real flowers! She was completely shocked because of how beautiful they were and nicely put together. I wanted to pass this on to you because we absolutely loved the work you did for us and will definitely be recommending you!
— Paige | Michigan

Isn’t she gorgeous?? And the sweetest to work with-thanks again Paige!

Rustic Burgundy and Navy Silk Wedding Flowers - Part 1

Paige was an awesome bride to work with. She had been planning her wedding right along when COVID did its thing and made plans for her. Paige called me to tell me that her December wedding was being moved up to October! Since silk wedding flowers keep forever, it was no problem at all! I had everything on hand and got to work on her custom silk bridal bouquet and wedding flowers in burgundy and navy.

Paige’s silk bridal bouquet was in the round hand-tied style. If you aren’t familiar with that term, it simply means it is not a tight ball, has some pieces that stick out and the stems are visible underneath the bouquet. We used ivory Roses, burgundy Dahlia, navy Ranunculus, Lamb’s Ear, Baby’s Breath and Seeded Eucalyptus in her designs. Since she wanted a rustic but romantic look, I wrapped the stems with burlap and lace. Perfect for her East Coast wedding!

Paige wanted the bridesmaid bouquets to feature more greenery and less flowers. There was one large burgundy Dahlia and a bud, Baby’s Breath, Lamb’s Ear, and Seeded Eucalyptus. I matched the same shape of the bouquet, round handtied, and added the same burlap and lace on the stems.

Paige’s boutonnieres were a great example of varying the styles for the different “categories” of guys (groom, groomsmen, dads, etc.) but still keeping the designs cohesive. For the groom’s boutonniere we switched things up and used a burgundy Rose with Baby’s Breath and Lamb’s Ear. The groomsmen had Baby’s Breath, a Dahlia bud and Seeded Eucalyptus. And the dads had an ivory Rose, Baby’s Breath and Lamb’s Ear. I used a burlap ribbon to finish them off to incorporate that same touch of rustic.

The mothers’ wrist corsages were ivory Roses a small burgundy Mum (to mimic the look of a Dahlia but smaller), Baby’s Breath, Lamb’s Ear and a small spray of rhinestones.

Erin was absolutely amazing to work with and her flower work is phenomenal. The bouquets turned out beautiful and were perfect for our wedding. I recommend her for any of your flower needs!

Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreations Reveal

I don’t always get permission to share the original photos clients send me when recreating a bridal bouquet. But that doesn’t mean I can’t share the finished product! Here are three gorgeous and unique bridal bouquet recreations in silk wedding flowers that are totally worth sharing!

This first bouquet was a striking combination of Anemone, white Ranunculus, blush Roses, peach Hydrangea, Seeded Eucalyptus, white Heather, light green Eucalyptus seeds, Lamb’s Ear, chocolate Cosmos, and purple Eucalyptus in a cascade style bouquet. I just love the high contrast of the white and dark purples!

This next bouquet was for her destination wedding. It was a classic round style bouquet chock full of roses in a variety of whites and creams.

Here’s one more for your viewing pleasure :)

This last bouquet was so gorgeous and lush. It had a mix of Cabbage Roses in Peach and Cream, white Peonies, cream Ranunculus, white Hydrangea, and brighter pink Roses. Tucked throughout the bouquet were pretty clusters of larger scale pearls. It was such a sweet bouquet to recreate!

Hiking in With Your Northwoods Silk Wedding Flowers - A Destination Wedding

One of the many things I learned in 2020 was some flexibility. I saw that same quality in a lot of my clients this past year. Minnesota clients of mine, especially, had to switch plans, reschedule dates, change venues, and even adjust wedding party members. When Karen contacted me about her daughter’s wedding, I loved the creativity they had come up with to still go forward with her daughter’s wedding. They were going up north, hiking into their location and doing a small ceremony in the beauty of nature. Isn’t that awesome? It also presented a few unique challenges: the arrangements needed to be packable and small.

Take a look at the package of destination silk wedding flowers I put together for Karen and her daughter.

The bridal bouquet was a mix of a single white Peony, ivory Ranunuculus, Fern, Seeded Eucalyptus and some mixed greenery. Karen wanted everything to look woodsy and natural, so I wrapped the stems in a sage green satin ribbon.

There was one bridesmaid bouquet that needed to be even smaller and still incorporate the same flowers. I reduced the amount of Ranunculus and greenery for a cute clutch style bouquet.

The groom and groomsman each had a single Ranunculus for their boutonnieres with a different mix of greenery in each. Karen had ordered a small cake that they wanted a small custom cake arrangement made for. I created a topper that could either be placed directly in the center, on one corner/side spreading over the cake, or hanging over the edge of the cake on the side. I like to give options with these sorts of custom arrangements so the bride can decide what she likes best.

If 2020 left you in a tail spin and you feel like everything has to change for your upcoming wedding plans, take heart! One of the things you could check off your list is your wedding flowers. With custom silk wedding flowers, you can order ahead of time, see what they look like while they are being made, and have them on hand months ahead of time to deal with any changes that come your way. And if that means hiking into the Northwoods with your custom silk wedding flowers, I got your back! Contact me today for a free quote!

I recently got married this past July and really wanted to preserve my wedding flowers, but when I found out how expensive that was I decided to go a different route and get my bouquet recreated. I eventually found Love Is Blooming online and emailed Erin right away. Erin was lovely to work with and responded quickly. After a few emails and pictures my bouquet turned out beautifully, so good my family thought it was the real thing!

Peony Silk Wedding Flowers and Bridal Bouquet

Peonies are one of my favorite flowers, so I love getting to incorporate them into bridal bouquets and wedding flowers. Because they are a nice full flower, they fill in an arrangement using fewer flowers, but have a romantic texture that softens up any bouquet.

This bridal bouquet was a mix of ivory roses and peonies with blush pink large and mini Peonies and wrapped in Antique White ribbon.

The bridesmaids bouquets were a nice complement to the bridal and feature ivory roses and peonies and a few blush peonies. We matched the ribbon on these bouquets too.

One of the special arrangements I created to match the other wedding flowers was an honorary Grandparent’s arrangement. This is a thoughtful way to honor grandparents who are not able to attend the ceremony or who have passed away. In this case, we added some red roses as a way to include her grandmother’s favorite color. I also added a little bit of Lamb’s ear to set it apart from the bouquets.

The toss bouquet was a slight variation on both the bridal and the bridesmaids bouquets and was composed of ivory and blush Peonies and ivory Spray Roses. I added ribbon tails onto the wrap so it looks a little more dramatic as it gets tossed through the air.

Peonies aren’t usually used for boutonnieres and corsages because of their size. In this case, the mini Peonies were a great option for both!

Cake flowers are a great way to tie it all your themes together at the reception. These small clusters will be placed on a few of the layers of the cake. Just a touch of pink, ivory and Lamb’s ear.

Maybe you like Peonies or maybe it’s the blush and ivory combination. Or maybe it’s the look of a round style bridal bouquet that caught your eye. Whatever your style or colors, fill out the Free Bride’s Checklist for a quote on your dream wedding flowers!

Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Silk Flowers for Your Anniversary

A bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers is a great way to commemorate a wedding anniversary, birthday, or major gift-giving holiday like Christmas or Valentine’s Day. Take a look at this bright and romantic bridal bouquet recreation that was composed of blush Roses, peach Spray Roses, light blue Hydrangea, white Peonies, blue Delphinium, white Baby’s Breath and Greenery.

Customizing Silk Wedding Flowers from and Inspiration Photos

Usually bride’s who contact me have an idea of what they like, as was the case with Kim. She was interested in a silk bridal bouquet with ivory Roses, Baby’s Breath and pink carnations with some bling. I sent her the link to this bouquet to give her an example of the bling I could do and she ended up loving the bouquet itself! We adjusted the colors a bit so that her bouquet was mainly ivory and blush pink and gave the big pops of pink to the bridesmaids who would be wearing black dresses.

Peonies in ivory and blush pink with ivory Roses, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Antique White Satin ribbon and rhinestone wrap on the handle.

The bridesmaid bouquets were a mix of ivory Roses, fuchsia, bright pink and blush pink Peonies, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus with Azalea colored satin ribbon.

Kim wanted a custom piece for her altar. I created this swag to lay on the table at the front of her ceremony site. I incorporated mixed greens, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, ivory Roses and Peonies, and blush pink, fuchsia and bright pink peonies.

The boutonnieres were a combination of flowers and colors for a cohesive look. The groom’s bout was an ivory Rose bud, with blush pink accent, bright pink mini Peony, a sprig of Eucalyptus and antique white ribbon to match the bridal bouquet. Kim also wanted the groom’s bout to have a tiny bit of bling so I lined the top and the bottom of the stem with a thin strip of rhinestones. The groomsmen bouts were an ivory rose, mini Peony, Eucalyptus and the same color ribbon as the bridesmaid bouquets. We kept the fathers’ boutonnieres simple with an ivory Rose bud, sprig of Eucalyptus and blush pink ribbon.

The two mothers’ corsages were wrist style with spray Roses, mini Peonies, blush accent, Eucalyptus, a small spray of rhinestones and blush pink ribbon.

Wisteria, Lavender and Ivory Silk Wedding Flowers

Sometimes a picture says it all. Take a look at Kate’s custom silk wedding flowers in wisteria, lavender and ivory.

Composed of ivory and lavender Peonies, wisteria Tea Roses, Lavender and Lamb’s ear, Kate’s bridal bouquet was just so darn romantic. The handtied style is classic and will always look great no matter the year or the season!

The bridesmaids will carry bouquets similar to Kate’s but scaled back in size. They were tied off with matching Antique White satin ribbon.

I found these sweet little mini Peonies that were just perfect for the boutonnieres and corsages.

Groom’s boutonniere with a mini ivory Peony, Lavender, Waxflower and Lamb’s ear. The groomsmen and father’s boutonnieres had a mini Peony, Lavender and Lamb’s ear.

The mothers’ pin on corsages matched the guys with a couple mini ivory Peonies, Lavender, a small wisteria flower bud, Lamb’s ear, ribbon and small spray of rhinestones. Charming!

Dusty Blue and Ivory Silk Bridal Bouquet and Maid of Honor Bouquet

Small weddings are all the rage right now. Whether that’s a result of Covid-19 or couples reevaluating what they want their dream wedding to be like, I’m doing more and more custom silk bridal bouquets for weddings with just one or two bridesmaids, or none at all! And since things are changing left and right for what can be celebrated and when, there has never been a better time to order flowers that DON’T DIE! I’ve already been able to help out several couples who’s wedding plans had to change and the best part is that they still get beautiful flowers, whenever their wedding ends up happening.

Kayla emailed me looking for her bouquet and a matching one for her Maid of Honor. She had a few inspiration photos and with a little input from me we came up with this bright and light design.

The bridal bouquet consisted of blue Hydrangea, ivory Roses and Calla Lilies, and greens. Kayla wanted to include some bling, so I added individual rhinestones into the bouquet and tied it off with silver ribbon.

I ordered my bridal and maid of honor bouquet after dealing with so many florists. I decided to go with Love is Blooming and holy cow they came out amazing! Erin did an amazing job, she kept me informed, and gave me ideas on what would look good and what wouldn’t. I am so beyond happy with how they turned out.
— Kayla | Minnesota

The matching Maid of Honor bouquet was a smaller version of Kayla’s bridal bouquet, down to the rhinestones and ribbon.

I reached out to Erin to see if she could recreate my wife’s wedding bouquet for our 2nd anniversary. After a few emails and pictures, she had everything she needed. A few weeks later she sent me images that were a dead on ringer for my wife’s wedding bouquet. Fast forward to our anniversary and my wife absolutely loved the gift and still can’t believe how close it looks to the original. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bouquet!
— Matt | Ohio

The above photo is one I sent to Matt when I had the bouquet finished up. He loved it but mentioned that another photo of the original bouquet, from a different angle, showed more greenery than I could see. This right here folks, is why silk flowers are awesome. Whether it’s a recreation or your actual wedding flowers, getting to see them ahead of time means you can make those little tweaks that make the difference. After receiving Matt’s feedback, I was able to add some more greens in to the back of the bouquet around the bottom. The below photo shows the edits of the final design. When it comes to anniversary gifts, it’s important to me to get it right, those details really do matter!

Matt was kind enough to send this photo to me to demonstrate that despite attempting to dry out his wife’s gorgeous original bouquet, it didn’t look as pretty as they’d hoped. And that’s where I got to help out.

Pink and White Silk Wedding Flowers with Bling

Pink, in any shade, is in style. In my 15 years of creating custom silk wedding flowers and bridal bouquets in Minneapolis area and across the country (and world), there hasn’t been a single year where I haven’t done multiple pink weddings. No purple this year, sure. No yellow in sight, no surprise there. But pink? There’s always been pink.

If you are considering pink, you can’t go wrong. And if you want to find a way for your silk wedding flowers to stand out, just add bling! Take a look these silk flower bouquets that I customized after my bride saw these flowers.

This round style silk bridal bouquet is made of Roses, Peonies, Tulips and hand wired broaches in the bouquet. I wrapped the handle with antique white ribbon before adding a layer of rhinestone wrap for some extra glam.

Bridal and Toss Bouquet

The bridesmaid bouquets matched but we decided to take out the tulips and add in Phalaenopsis Orchids as well as some individual oversized rhinestones.

Matching boutonnieres incuded Roses, Phalaenopsis Orchids and mini Peony buds. The wrist corsages were upgraded to include a pearl beaded bracelet—a keepsake the moms would get to wear after the big day was but a memory.

Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation in High Contrast Colors

There’s a lot going on in our world right now with COVID-19. I know of many florists who are unable to fill orders due to recommended safety precautions preventing receiving and delivering flowers. My heart goes out to small businesses across the country as well as couples who may be considering postponing their wedding until a later date. If you are in a situation where things are uncertain, but you still intend to keep the wedding planning going, contact me to find out how you can plan ahead and still have your dream wedding flowers when your big day comes around.

I’ts also never too early to think about your anniversary gift giving. There is something really eye catching about high contrast colors in a bridal bouquet and wedding flowers. This silk bridal bouquet recreation is a great example of that. And if you aren’t looking for a recreation, this is a great way to see how some bright, fun colors can be playful and still look “bridal.”

With a combination of ivory Roses and Peonies , lime green Button Mums, and royal purple Statice, this bridal bouquet in silk flowers would be great for spring, summer or for a fun twist in fall or winter.

Romantic Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation Review

There really is something timeless and breathtaking about an all white or ivory bridal bouquet. This one was especially beautiful and romantic. This custom bridal bouquet recreation in silk wedding flowers consisted of a variety of white Roses and matching satin ribbon wrap on the stems. It was stunning!

My husband, Cliff, recently worked with you in recreating my wedding bouquet for our fourth wedding anniversary. Our special day was last Friday, November 8, and as expected, I was surprised and touched with this incredibly thoughtful gift. I was completely taken away, not only by the tremendous resemblance in sight, but also how remarkably similar this bouquet was in weight to the original. If I close my eyes, I can actually believe I’m holding the exact bouquet from 4 years ago! Your work and your attention to detail is extraordinary; you are so very talented! Cliff also spoke highly of your customer service and the great time and patience you took in working with him to ensure that this project turned out perfect. I personally thank you for creating this beautiful reminder of our wedding day, and for all the assistance you gave Cliff to help him make our day so special.
