Round Bridal Bouquet

Wisteria, Lavender and Ivory Silk Wedding Flowers

Sometimes a picture says it all. Take a look at Kate’s custom silk wedding flowers in wisteria, lavender and ivory.

Composed of ivory and lavender Peonies, wisteria Tea Roses, Lavender and Lamb’s ear, Kate’s bridal bouquet was just so darn romantic. The handtied style is classic and will always look great no matter the year or the season!

The bridesmaids will carry bouquets similar to Kate’s but scaled back in size. They were tied off with matching Antique White satin ribbon.

I found these sweet little mini Peonies that were just perfect for the boutonnieres and corsages.

Groom’s boutonniere with a mini ivory Peony, Lavender, Waxflower and Lamb’s ear. The groomsmen and father’s boutonnieres had a mini Peony, Lavender and Lamb’s ear.

The mothers’ pin on corsages matched the guys with a couple mini ivory Peonies, Lavender, a small wisteria flower bud, Lamb’s ear, ribbon and small spray of rhinestones. Charming!

Dusty Blue and Ivory Silk Bridal Bouquet and Maid of Honor Bouquet

Small weddings are all the rage right now. Whether that’s a result of Covid-19 or couples reevaluating what they want their dream wedding to be like, I’m doing more and more custom silk bridal bouquets for weddings with just one or two bridesmaids, or none at all! And since things are changing left and right for what can be celebrated and when, there has never been a better time to order flowers that DON’T DIE! I’ve already been able to help out several couples who’s wedding plans had to change and the best part is that they still get beautiful flowers, whenever their wedding ends up happening.

Kayla emailed me looking for her bouquet and a matching one for her Maid of Honor. She had a few inspiration photos and with a little input from me we came up with this bright and light design.

The bridal bouquet consisted of blue Hydrangea, ivory Roses and Calla Lilies, and greens. Kayla wanted to include some bling, so I added individual rhinestones into the bouquet and tied it off with silver ribbon.

I ordered my bridal and maid of honor bouquet after dealing with so many florists. I decided to go with Love is Blooming and holy cow they came out amazing! Erin did an amazing job, she kept me informed, and gave me ideas on what would look good and what wouldn’t. I am so beyond happy with how they turned out.
— Kayla | Minnesota

The matching Maid of Honor bouquet was a smaller version of Kayla’s bridal bouquet, down to the rhinestones and ribbon.

I reached out to Erin to see if she could recreate my wife’s wedding bouquet for our 2nd anniversary. After a few emails and pictures, she had everything she needed. A few weeks later she sent me images that were a dead on ringer for my wife’s wedding bouquet. Fast forward to our anniversary and my wife absolutely loved the gift and still can’t believe how close it looks to the original. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bouquet!
— Matt | Ohio

The above photo is one I sent to Matt when I had the bouquet finished up. He loved it but mentioned that another photo of the original bouquet, from a different angle, showed more greenery than I could see. This right here folks, is why silk flowers are awesome. Whether it’s a recreation or your actual wedding flowers, getting to see them ahead of time means you can make those little tweaks that make the difference. After receiving Matt’s feedback, I was able to add some more greens in to the back of the bouquet around the bottom. The below photo shows the edits of the final design. When it comes to anniversary gifts, it’s important to me to get it right, those details really do matter!

Matt was kind enough to send this photo to me to demonstrate that despite attempting to dry out his wife’s gorgeous original bouquet, it didn’t look as pretty as they’d hoped. And that’s where I got to help out.

Pink and White Silk Wedding Flowers with Bling

Pink, in any shade, is in style. In my 15 years of creating custom silk wedding flowers and bridal bouquets in Minneapolis area and across the country (and world), there hasn’t been a single year where I haven’t done multiple pink weddings. No purple this year, sure. No yellow in sight, no surprise there. But pink? There’s always been pink.

If you are considering pink, you can’t go wrong. And if you want to find a way for your silk wedding flowers to stand out, just add bling! Take a look these silk flower bouquets that I customized after my bride saw these flowers.

This round style silk bridal bouquet is made of Roses, Peonies, Tulips and hand wired broaches in the bouquet. I wrapped the handle with antique white ribbon before adding a layer of rhinestone wrap for some extra glam.

Bridal and Toss Bouquet

The bridesmaid bouquets matched but we decided to take out the tulips and add in Phalaenopsis Orchids as well as some individual oversized rhinestones.

Matching boutonnieres incuded Roses, Phalaenopsis Orchids and mini Peony buds. The wrist corsages were upgraded to include a pearl beaded bracelet—a keepsake the moms would get to wear after the big day was but a memory.

There really is something timeless and breathtaking about an all white or ivory bridal bouquet. This one was especially beautiful and romantic. My husband, Cliff, recently worked with you in recreating my wedding bouquet for our fourth wedding anniversary. Our special day was last Friday, November 8, and as expected, I was surprised and touched with this incredibly thoughtful gift. I was completely taken away, not only by the tremendous resemblance in sight, but also how remarkably similar this bouquet was in weight to the original. If I close my eyes, I can actually believe I’m holding the exact bouquet from 4 years ago! Your work and your attention to detail is extraordinary; you are so very talented! Cliff also spoke highly of your customer service and the great time and patience you took in working with him to ensure that this project turned out perfect. I personally thank you for creating this beautiful reminder of our wedding day, and for all the assistance you gave Cliff to help him make our day so special.

Take a look at this striking bridal bouquet recreation in silk wedding flowers that is composed of Roses, Hydrangea and Orchids.

Amanda wanted her amazing bridal bouquet recreated in high quality silk flowers. Even though her wedding wasn’t in a tropical location, it did include a tropical flower- blue Dendrobium orchids. But there was no need to worry about flowers being out season, excessive cost for a tropical flower, or anything like that.

If you are looking to have a bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers created for you, or your wife, there’s no need to worry about ordering in a certain season to get what you need. Tropical silk wedding flowers can be found all year round and in all climates. Which is lucky for me since I live in a very decidedly un-tropical place like MInnesota.

Roses are Red...

Roses that are red might make you think of Valentine’s Day, but they don’t have to! This bridal bouquet recreation in silk wedding flowers is a great example of how to keep it looking like a Hallmark holiday bouquet.

Corey sent me photos of his wife’s gorgeous bouquet he wanted to order to celebrate their fall anniversary. This bouquet included red garden and spray Roses, burgundy Dahlias, burgundy Ranunculus, ivory Ranunculus, white Waxflower, deep purple Scabiosa, Fern and Smilax.

Perhaps if the original bouquet had only included true red and white flowers, this bouquet would lack some depth and interest and make us think either Christmas or Valentine’s Day. Instead, the original florist incorporated some beautiful jewel tones, a variety of shades of red and burgundy and some lovely greenery to make this gorgeous bouquet.

I got a replica of my wife’s bouquet for our anniversary. Erin was amazing creating the bouquet and nailing the price and quick turn around time I had. It looks identical! Would definitely use her again and recommend to anyone!

Turning a Bridal Bouquet into a Display Arrangement in Silk Wedding Flowers

Sometimes recreating a bridal bouquet exactly as it was isn’t what the customer is looking for. Whether it’s the shape or size of the bouquet, sometimes a change is a great option for displaying this permanently in your home. That’s what Jacob was looking for in a custom bridal bouquet recreation in silk wedding flowers. He sent me a couple photos of his wife’s bouquet and said that since the original had been quite large, he was looking to reduce the overall size to make it a nice display size for their home.

The original bouquet consisted of ivory Roses, Shasta Daisies, Baby’s Breath, Bells of Ireland and Greens with a sheer wrap and bow.

Custom Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation Review

Sometimes there is no better way to tell you about why a custom bridal bouquet recreation in silk wedding flowers is an amazing gift than for me to just shut my mouth. So without further ado:

Working with Erin was fantastic. I contacted her for a recreation of my wife’s wedding bouquet for our first anniversary, and she wrote right back today. I sent her some pictures showing different angles and she totally nailed it. She was always very responsive and sent me pictures throughout the process so I could watch the bouquet come together and offer input. I couldn’t believe how quickly she finished the product, and when it arrived at my parents house (didn’t want to spoil the surprise!) I couldn’t wait to see it. I was blown away as were they at the accuracy of the finished bouquet. Erin did a great job.

Mauve, Ivory and Blush Silk Wedding Flowers

Happy New Year! Maybe you are starting new habits, keeping up with the old, or maybe you aren’t doing either this year! But if you are planning a wedding for 2020, now is the time to start!

Dorothy saw this blog post of a silk bridal bouquet recreation and she loved the bouquet so much, she decided she wanted to order it for her own bridal bouquet. We adapted it slightly so that there was less of the blush color, but the shape and composition basically stayed the same.

If you’ve seen a bouquet somewhere else that you like, but knew a few changes would mean you’d love it, I’m your gal! Contact me today to talk ideas!

Wild Winter Wedding with Silk Wedding Flowers

I thought this post would be a good kickoff to the official first day of winter! With Christmas right around the corner, I wanted to show you something that captures the spirit of winter without being all, “Hey, I’m a Christmas bouquet!”

They say snowflakes are all different, so why can’t wedding flowers? I get the luxury of coming up with custom designs for my brides. There are no books of silk wedding flower packages to limit you to. If you can dream it, I can do it!

I feel like Emily’s flowers fall into this category. She wanted a wild, winter look for her December wedding flowers with twigs, branches, pussy willow, mistletoe and pops of jewel tones to accent her green wedding dress.

Her bouquet was another “may appear bigger in real life” bouquet that is just magical. The blue thistle pays homage to her fiance’s Scottish background, and the bits of burgundy Eucalyptus keep this bouquet on the warmer side of becoming too frosty.

Herer’s the toss bouquet that matches the bridal bouquet in a simpler style.

custom-wedding-flowers-bridal-bouquet-toss-bouquets.jpg

We went a little different route with the bridesmaid bouquets. Instead of them closely matching the bridal bouquet, we used more of the burgundy with some Calla lilies, along with the white Freesia, blue Thistle, Boxwood, Pussy Willow, and Mistletoe.

The boutonnieres and corsages used a little bit of everything so that we could customize some of the personal flowers based on who would be wearing them.

Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation With Lavender

Your bridal bouquet might be one of the most memorable things about your wedding day. You may have carefully chosen the different flowers and colors that you would carry around on your big day. So when Jessica contacted me and told me about the loss of her bouquet, along with her home and much of her belongings in the Camp Fire in Norther California, I knew I wanted to make sure I got this silk bridal bouquet recreation right!

Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Ivory and Blue

Luke contacted me looking for the perfect anniversary gift for his wife. After seeing the photos, I got to work recreating the original bridal bouquet of blue and ivory Hydrangea, Ivory Roses and Spray Roses, ivory berries and greens into her own silk bridal bouquet recreation.

Sometimes it takes a few different photos of the bouquet to get it just right. In this case, the original photo Brandon sent didn’t quite capture the brightness of the blue Hydrangea. A different angle did, so I was able to find a brighter blue Hydrangea and switch it out. I wanted to be sure and get it just right!

Burgundy, Navy and Ivory Silk Wedding Flowers

Burgundy and Navy have been on the hot trend train in bridal bouquets and wedding flowers for most of the last year and a half. I’ve done several silk wedding flowers incorporating these colors together, but never like together, together. It’s always been using navy as a slight accent or with the ribbon. So my challenge with these wedding flowers was to make sure that these bouquets in no way made anyone want to stand up and say the Pledge of Allegiance. There is a reason these colors look great together, but that’s not what we were going for.

Navy can be limiting in your wedding flowers, but not impossible! I found these dark blue roses and then a lighter dusty blue heather to include more blue tones. The burgundy Ranunculus added the perfect amount of moodiness for these fall wedding flowers without it being too much. The ivory roses, peonies and daisies provided great contrast for the darker colors to really pop against. I chose a darker greenery, Smilax, to keep the dark jewel tones and maintain the overall feel of these flowers.

The boutonnieres and corsages had ivory roses as their base because they are perfect for that. Then a little navy accent here, a dash of burgundy there and a sprinkle of rhinestones made for some really classy personal flowers.

Textured Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Silk Flowers

There is so much to see in this one bouquet! Ranunculus, Roses, Peonies, Brunia berries, Heather, Thistle, Rosemary, Seeded Eucalyptus, Scabiosa Pods and the perfect amount of greenery.

Burgundy Dahlia & Blush Peony Cascade Silk Wedding Bouquet

A trend I’ve noticed and loved is the loose, modified, cascading style bouquets. They are romantic and airy and perfect for any style of wedding. Another hot thing this year has been merlot/burgundy/raspberry themed weddings. It’s a gorgeous and deep color that pairs so well with blush, ivory, and even greens. Today’s example includes a few of these elements:

Peonies, Dahlias, Fern, Seeded Eucalyptus, Heather, and Wisteria.

The groom’s boutonniere was a great match to the bouquet. A couple of blush mini Peony buds, some burgundy Heather and a sprig of Eucalyptus. Unique and interesting!

This matching cake topper and garland for around the base of the cake used some of the same flowers and all of the same beauty.
