Red, Blue and White Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Today’s color combination might have you thinking, why are you sharing this in November? Shouldn’t this be a 4th of July post? That right there is why I’m sharing it now. While this color palette can be equated with the Stars and Stripes, it doesn’t have to! Bride Samantha and her sister worked with me to create custom silk wedding flowers that incorporated the colors Samantha loved without looking patriotic. Let’s take a look at her red, blue and white silk wedding flowers, photographed by the very talented NuView Photography!

Samantha had favorite flowers she wanted to include in the designs and she sent me the bridesmaid dress color that was a beautiful dusty blue. We landed on deep red Roses, dusty blue Roses, brighter red Begonias, navy Mums, white Baby’s Breath and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. The bouquets were round handtied style with different combinations of navy, dusty blue and red ribbon wrapped and crisscrossed over the stems.

This picture gives a great look at the detail on Samantha’s bouquet up close. She wanted a touch of lace, so we found a way to include that on her bouquet and she added a few small framed photos to honor loved ones.

I love pictures like this that include so many special people in the couples’ lives! If you zoom in on our awesome couple, you’ll see a couple of non-humans that are special too. They were not only a part of the big day, they got in on the flower action too!

Look at these sweet babies! One wore a suit that matched the bridal party and had a tiny boutonniere to match. The other kitty wore a dress and I created a custom flower crown for her tiny kitty head!

Erin is amazing! I was able to just give her my vision for what I wanted for my wedding, and she was able to take all the ideas and create an amazing bouquet for my girls and I. Erin was very patient with all my edits and what if ideas throughout the process. Erin explained the different techniques that she was using to create the bouquets. At the wedding my guests were amazed (including my photographers) that the flowers weren’t real! I would highly recommend her services!

Navy and White Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

I am excited to show you today’s wedding because it’s a great example of a classy and subtle way to include something you like into your wedding flowers. Bride Jenni mentioned that her soon-to-be-husband was a Notre Dame fame and they wanted to include to bring that into their wedding flowers, they wanted to incorporate Kelly Green and Navy, along with white. Let’s take a look at how we accomplished that in these photos by Lindy Heiss at Vision of Beauty.

Here’s our sweet bride Jenni with her illuminating smile! Her round handtied bridal bouquet was a mix of white Roses, white Anemone with navy centers, white Heather, navy Roses, Fern and Ficus. They are such a happy looking couple!

Jenni’s daughters were a part of their special day and each carried mini bouquets that included the same mix of flowers and greens as the bridal bouquet.

After visiting several local florists who told me my vision bouquet just wasn’t possible, I found Erin. Without ever meeting in person, she was able to take the vision in my mind and create it perfectly. My bouquet was exactly what I was hoping for, and the small bouquets for my two daughters were the perfect size. All three bouquets are now on display in our home, and I love that they will last a lifetime.

Sunflowers and Navy Blue Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

One thing that will never go out of style is sunflowers! They are bright and cheery, they go great with a variety of color palettes, and they look especially great for weddings that include elements from the great outdoors. My bride, Caitlin, sent me some lovely images from David Paul Photography of her summer wedding. Let’s take a look at a great example of using Sunflowers with a mix of navy and white in custom silk wedding flowers!

Caitlin chose a cascading bridal bouquet with a mix of Sunflowers, navy Roses, navy Wisteria, white Calla Lilies, and Ruscus. It was a lush, full bouquet that looked perfect with the backdrop of a green field as she entered the ceremony site!

sunflower-bridal-bouquet-silk-wedding-flowers-corsage-boutonniere

The bridesmaids carried round handtied style bouquet with a mix of navy Roses, Sunflowers, white Callas and Ruscus.

There was a beautiful fireplace as the backdrop for their altar and Caitlin had me design three pieces to coordinate with her bridal bouquet. Along the mantel, I created a long garland with Sunflowers. navy Roses and Wisteria, Calla Lilies and greenery. We didn’t go large with this piece because we needed it to do double duty for the reception area. She also ordered two pieces to sit on the hearth. Instead of making these bouquet style to drop in a vase, they had a flat bottom so they could sit on the ground, on a table top, or anywhere she needed more decor. As you can see below, the versatility of these three custom silk flower arrangements made her dollar stretch and her head table look great!

When ordering cake flowers, there are a few options! You can order a custom floral cake topper, premade clusters for layers, or like Caitlin, you can order loose flowers and greenery for your baker to place on the cake. Their baker did a great job accenting this simple, but classic cake style.

Thank you for contributing to my big day! The arrangements are now decorating my house.
— Caitlin | Ohio

Caitlin had worn a tiara for the ceremony but wanted to switch it up for the reception, so I created a custom floral crown that incorporated her flowers and colors

Customer Review of Custom Silk Wedding Flowers

A few weeks ago, I shared Brandi and Troy’s stunning red, peach, pink and white custom silk wedding flowers. Brandi was the sweetest bride to work with, and she’s also an amazing performer busy in a show right now. But she took the time to write up a testimonial about her experience working with me. Once again, amazing photos by the amazing Jennifer Juniper Photography.

custom-silk-wedding-flowers-red-bridal-bouquet-altar-arrangements-boutonniere
My husband and I got married in January, and wanted something special and unique for our flowers. Had we chosen to use real flowers, we would have been out thousands of dollars. I decided to search instead for someone using silk flowers who could make our wishes come true at a fraction of the price (and so we can also put them on display in our house afterwards).

I found Erin, and she was immediately so responsive, and while other floral designers shied away from the vibrance and lack of greenery we wanted, Erin was excited to do something different. In the beginning, she sent us an email with tons of flowers and colors that we could pick from, and saw our vision immediately.

We ordered my bouquet, two separate pieces to flank the archways, table decorations, and boutonnieres and corsages for our family, as well as flowers for our cake. We found the exact pieces we wanted to put the flowers in / on, and sent the pictures through to her. What she created was incomparable and totally better than what we were dreaming of.

As the process continued, she communicated often and sent pictures so we could see the progress and make any changes we thought necessary. Shipping came with insurance and a tracking number. Please just see the pictures, because my words cannot describe how beautiful they came out. I recommend her to literally EVERYONE I know who is getting married. This was a wonderful experience, and my husband and I both feel so grateful to have found and worked with her to help make our wedding day the most beautiful day of our lives.

Sunflowers and White Roses Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Welcome back to another addition of “Oh my gosh, that’s so pretty!” I love it when the custom silk wedding flowers I create for a bride end up matching her personality perfectly. Today’s wedding flowers are bubbly, bright, classic, pretty, and fun! This makes it easy to introduce bride Kalie to you because as you’ll see from the photos, she’s all those things too! Let’s take a look at the photos she sent from her photographer Amanda Hansen Photography that you can find on Facebook.

I mean, you get it now right? Look at that smile! Ok, back to the flowers. Kalie’s bouquet was a round handtied style with white Garden Roses Sunflowers, white Baby’s Breath, black Skimmia Berries, small leaf Eucalyptus and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. And if you still weren’t sure how fun she is, take a look at her wedding shoes! Love it!

The bridesmaids carried slightly different bouquets that were round handtied style with just Sunflowers, Baby’s Breath, small leaf and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. I love that they were different so that Kalie’s bouquet stood out more, without being a completely different look. And that gold in the Sunflowers really popped against their black dresses.

I also created two custom altar arrangements to go on the gazebo at their ceremony site. It added a nice touch of color to the all white backdrop, tied in with the bouquets and made for a cohesive look.

Erin was absolutely incredible from the second I contacted her. She was so easy to work with, sweet and kind and extremely detailed. She listened to everything I wanted and suggested the route we go and I was absolutely in love with my flowers. The cost was amazing for the quality! 10/10 recommend!
— Kalie | New York

We can’t forget about our littlest participants! The flower girls each carried mini bouquets and looked like they fit right in with all the grownups in the wedding party. So cute!

Remember those altar arrangements just a few photos ago? I always recommend finding a place that your altar arrangements can do double duty. For Kalie, they had this awesome hoop behind their sweetheart table. Without any decorations you can see how it might just disappear into the background. Ask a friend to help take down your altar arrangement(s) and rehang or place at your reception site and you have instant decor!

Thanks again to our happy couple for sharing their big day with all of us. If you are looking for custom silk wedding flowers that match your personality, style and flair, fill out the Free Bride’s Checklist today!

Red, Peach, Pink and White Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal

I have been WAITING for this day to share Brandi and Troy’s STUNNING red, peach, pink and white silk wedding flowers. There is a touch of everything in these wedding florals including tropical, romantic, lush, and even a little art deco. AND WAIT TIL YOU SEE THEIR CAKE! Have I communicated my excitement enough yet? Thanks to Jennifer Juniper Photography for telling the story of Brandi and Troy’s wedding day so well!

Here’s our happy couple! They wanted everything to be packed with meaning for their big day, so I wanted to make sure the flowers were on par with everything else. Brandi’s modified cascade bouquet was a mix of peach cabbage roses, off white orchids, deep red ranunculus, peach ranunculus, red poppy, burgundy roses, red Freesia, burgundy Dahlia, bright pink roses, salmon ranunculus and rose pink Ranunculus.

What I enjoyed about looking through all these images is that everyone’s personality is so evident! They not only took into account their own personalities, but the personalities of their friends and family.

Their wedding took place at the Maitland Art Center and the setting was not only unique but just breathtakingly gorgeous. The pieces I created for the ceremony and reception sites needed to match the grandeur, and the style of our couple. Let’s take a look!

I created custom altar arrangements that incorporate a lot of the same flowers as the bridal bouquet, but in pieces that added some drama and color to the back drop.

Next up is the cake! Brandi sent me an inspiration photo and wanted two custom pieces to drape up and down the layers.

With such a beautiful venue, smaller centerpieces was the perfect choice! I made a few different types and Brandi had containers already picked out and ready to go. I made the centerpieces “bouquet” style, meaning they were ready to just drop in the vases!

Here’s a few more photos of our awesome couple!

Brandi shared this awesome video of Troy’s band, The Edge Effect, singing during the ceremony.

Cabernet, Taupe and Nude Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

I am SO excited to share this moody and dreamy and lovely wedding today! Local bride, Abby, had a color palette that I’ve seen rise in popularity the last two years: Cabernet (burgundy), navy and gold. But we didn’t want to hit those head on in the custom bouquets. Instead, we featured that deep burgundy, taupe, a little touch of nude and greenery for bouquets that were lush and textured and really stood out against the cabernet bridesmaid dresses and the mens’ suits. Let’s take a look at Abby’s stunning silk wedding flowers. Photos by the very talented Katy Greseth of Capture Glory Photography. You can find her on FB @KatyGreseth or IG @katygreseth.

Here’s our happy couple! Abby worked closely with me to pick out just the right colors for her bouquet. The bridal bouquet was a loose handtied style with a mix of nude and burgundy Garden Roses, taupe Garden Roses, white seeds and lots of Seeded Eucalyptus. We tied it off with some sheer, gold ribbon to give it just the smallest bit of shimmer and tie in her color scheme even more.

The groom’s boutonniere featured a burgundy Garden Rose, taupe Rose bud, some seeds and Eucalyptus. We used the same sheer gold ribbon to finish off the look.

And because this bouquet is just too pretty, here’s a few more shots of it!

Erin was GREAT to work with! Easy to communicate with, timely with replies, and the flowers turned out beyond perfect. They photograph so well! Would highly recommend working with her.
— Abby | Minnesota

The groomsmen had similar boutonnieres, simplified without the rose bud. It made for a cohesive and classic look.

The bridesmaids carried clutch style bouquets that incorporated one of each of the 3 colors of flowers, seeds and Eucalyptus. Even though clutch bouquets are smaller, you can use greenery to give a fuller look.

One of the many great things about silk wedding flowers is that set up is a snap. You don’t have to pay for a professional to come get things laid out perfectly and they will look great for your entire day. I wanted to show some examples of Abby’s use of silk flowers for wedding decor. Here you can see some clusters of flowers and greens aisle arrangements. These can also be hung on ribbon loops if your chairs allow.

Abby had also order two custom pieces meant to sit on top of wine barrels for the ceremony. Unfortunately, due to rain that day, they had to move things inside. But as you can see, it was a beautiful place to exchange vows and the wine barrel arrangements worked perfectly on stands next to the fireplace.

These custom pieces had a little more height and width to them than a standard bouquet, but had a flat bottom to sit on whatever surface was needed!

At your reception, I always suggest having your bouquets do double duty at your head table or somewhere else in your reception venue. Just buy vases, space them out along the head table and as each of you and your bridal party enter, drop a bouquet in the vase! It’s as easy as that!

Ivory, Champagne and Burnt Orange Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Every few years, a new hot wedding color comes on the scene. A few brave brides go for it, and pretty soon, it’s taking the wedding world by storm. That color is currently burnt orange or terra cotta or some iteration of orange. What’s cool about orange is…well, it’s warmth! It can bring to mind a sunset or being fireside or the warm fuzzies you get when you think of fall coming after a blazing hot summer. Today’s wedding is a lovely example of incorporating ivory, champagne and burnt orange into custom silk wedding flowers. Let’s take a look at the professional photos bride Katrina sent me from her photographer at Brittany Nicole Photography.

Here’s our knockout bride, Katrina! Here loose, round handtied style bouquet was a mix of peach Cabbage Roses, nude pink Roses, burnt orange Roses, beige Baby's breath, champagne Peonies, cream Cosmos, Lamb's ear, some pink seeds, sage greenery and a mix of Eucalyptus and Olive greenery. We included texture, variety, shades of peaches, champagne and burnt orange and a touch of nude pink.

The bridesmaids were burnt orange dresses that an embossed floral pattern on them, which I thought was such a unique touch and added visual interest to their whole look! Their bouquets were also loose, round handtied style bouquets with the same mix as the bridal bouquet, but with an extra blush pink Rose added in.

The groom wore a navy suit, so his burnt orange Rose with a Cosmos, Baby’s Breath and greenery really popped!

We went with a nude pink rose for the groomsmen, in a similar style but different, just like their gray suits!

I absolutely love the style of Katrina’s cake with it’s rustic vibe with the rough buttercream. The floral clusters for the layers brought it all together.

Erin does an INCREDIBLE job! She is so kind and just truly an incredible person! She is so easy to work with and really brings your dreams to reality! She created our flower arrangements BETTER than I could have ever imagined and made the whole process just 100000x easier for the stressed out bride! 1000/10 would recommend to literally everyone in need of arrangements!
— Katrina | Texas

Katrina wanted a low spray for her head table, which worked perfectly with their custom sign that incorporated their last names. Yes, their last names really are Human and Peoples, a perfect match right??

Lush Neutral Silk Wedding Flowers Part 2 - Ceremony and Centerpiece Flowers

Monday, I shared with you Alexis’ amazing custom silk bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. Today, I get to bring the drama with her custom ceremony arrangements and centerpieces. All of these images are by the very talented Marissa Murdy Studio.

The ceremony site had a rustic industrial vibe with brick and beams and black metal. Their “arch” was a hexagon that needed some softening. I created two swags to attach to the corners for an asymmetrical look. They both incorporated Pampas, Roses, Cosmos, white Ruscus and Eucalyptus and Baby’s Breath.

One thing I’ll preach from the rooftops is to make your decor work for you! This is a great example of how to do that. Alexis had custom structures for their centerpieces, that also worked perfectly a the ends of the rows of chairs for the ceremony. You can see how that looks in the photo above and then see how seamlessly they become centerpieces! All you need is a few helping hands willing to carry your pieces from one area to the next. And because you’re working with silk flowers, you don’t need to worry about heavy arrangements, water sloshing around, or smooshing anything that may get dropped or bumped. Your flower girl could carry these and they would be totally fine!

You can also see, in the photo above, one of the altar arrangements doing double duty on the head table. It’s a great use of the space and your budget! Another way to stretch your budget is to purchase some simple vases for you bridesmaids to drop their vases in. Whether along the headtable, cake or food tables, or even in a cocktail area, you can use what you have to incorporate florals around your reception area.

What did you think of Alexis’ flowers? Do you love the subtle shades of white, champagne and taupe in custom silk wedding flowers? Dusty Lavender and White Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Today’s reveal and review showcase a beautiful set of dusty lavender and white silk wedding flowers that made their way to Canada! Bride Katie was repurposing the flowers I made for her sister back in 2021. She needed a custom teardrop cascade bridal bouquet to match the 4 round handtied style bridesmaid bouquets she had. She also needed an additional bridesmaid bouquet in the same style. I also designed matching boutonnieres that gave the entire bridal party a cohesive look. Katie provided me with some beautiful images from her wedding day, taken by Lacey Hill Photography.

Katie’s bouquet was a tear drop cascading style bridal bouquet with a mix of dusty lavender Peonies, cream and white Cabbage and Garden Roses, white Larkspur, Baby’s Breath, lavender Spray Roses, and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus.

The bridesmaids carried the same mix of flowers as the bridal bouquet, but in a loose round handtied style. The boutonnieres were white rose buds with a spray rose and greens. Matching ribbon tied everything together, literally, for a classy and timeless look for the bridal party!

You were able to make the flowers exactly like what I had envisioned to match the rest of my decor, they held up so well (fake is the way to go), and everything was reliably on time and in good condition.

That you so much again!

Salmon, Dusty Blue and White Silk Wedding Flowers- Reveal and Review

Dusty blue was a hot color in 2022 and I fully expect it to stick around through 2023. You may have seen it on my blog paired with yellow, blush pink, burgundy and even lavender! Today, I get to share a pairing that you might not expect, but as you’ll soon see, it’s an amazing combo. Salmon and dusty blue for the win!

Let’s take a look at these gorgeous wedding photos from Paige’s wedding day. These were taken by the very talented Palms and Lace Photo.

Here’s our lovely bride, Paige! Her loose, round, handtied style bridal bouquet was a mix of ivory Sophia Roses, white Anemone, ivory Cabbage Roses with peach centers, salmon Delphinium, white Larkspur, dusty blue Roses, Seeded and small leaf Eucalyptus.

The bridesmaids wore beautiful dusty blue dresses and carried a mix of the bridal flowers in smaller clutch style bouquets. We wrapped them matching dusty blue ribbon to add a little more color.

The groom’s boutonniere incorporated both main colors while we simplified the groomsmen to have a white Anemone and a touch of the salmon Delphinium.

Now that you have all the details, enjoy these lovely images from their ceremony!

Love is Blooming was able to give me exactly what I was looking for for my wedding! I shopped around for a while, but no florist could guarantee I could get the colors and flowers I wanted, and I wouldn’t be able to see them in advance. Love is Blooming gave me the exact colors and worked with me throughout the entire process to create what I wanted so that there would be no surprises on my wedding day. I would absolutely recommend working with her!
— Paige | Utah

Paige also added to her order some small centerpieces. We featured the Cabbage Roses, salmon Delphinium and Eucalyptus for simple and pretty pieces. She purchases vases she liked and these mini bouquets just had to be dropped in before the big day.

Thanks again to Paige for sharing her big day with us! Are you looking for a unique spin on a well loved color for your wedding color scheme? Let’s talk!

Bold and Bright Spring Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Today’s bride, Kimberly, filled out the Free Bride’s Checklist and also included links to bouquets that had caught her eye. What I noticed right away were the bright colors, varying textures of the flowers and sunflowers! I got a little excited about her designs and sent her a bunch of ideas. Then, I looked at everything a second time and sent her a whole bunch more options. What we landed on is bold, bright and a little spunky. Let’s take a look at the professional wedding photos by Amy Galimore Photography

Kimberly’s bouquet was a loose and lush round handtied style bouquet with sunflowers, purple Hydrangea, magenta Cabbage Roses, orange and pink Ranunculus, blue Prunus, orange Cosmos, blue Dogwood, yellow Freesia, lavender seeds, and light green Roses. You almost have to look at it twice to see everything that’s in there!

The groom’s boutonniere was a mini Sunflower, purple Hydrangea, and pink and orange Ranunculus. We tied it off with twine to have a similar texture to the burlap that all the bouquets were wrapped with.

The lovely bridesmaids wore purple dresses and those bright tones really popped against such a rich backdrop!

Erin did a fantastic job with the flowers for my wedding! She was quick to respond and came up with beautiful combinations! She incorporated everything I asked for and more! Highly recommend!
— Kimberly | South Carolina
bright-wedding-flowers-custom-bridal-bouquet-boutonnieres

Kimberly also wanted to incorporate matching florals to the large arbor for their outdoor ceremony. She opted for two altar arrangements to attach to the sides of the arbor. The swags matched the bridal bouquet flowers on a bed of eucalyptus.

Not sure about specific flower but want a bright, sunny look for your custom silk wedding flowers? Let’s talk about your ideas!

Dusty Rose and Ivory Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

I love to share all my weddings, but the soft and romantic color palettes will always have my heart! Jennifer’s custom silk wedding flowers were a mix of white and dusty pink flowers with a touch of greenery. I was so excited to show her a few new options I had found including the dusty pink Lilac. Those lacey little flowers added so much texture with just a kiss of color. Let’s take a look at these wonderful images by Nikki Joachim Photography to see what Jennifer and I came up with together!

Jennifer specified that she wanted a loose look to the bouquets with space between things. She decided on the round handtied style, and I made some suggestions for a full bouquet that wouldn’t mean every flower would be packed in tightly. Her bouquet consisted of champagne Roses, ivory Ranunculus, dusty pink Lilac, white seeds, Lamb's Ear, white Larkspur, ivory Garden Roses, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and small leaf Eucalyptus.

Jennifer’s bridesmaid carried a matching style bouquet, just a bit smaller. The boutonnieres combined the ivory flowers and bits of the dusty pink Lilac with greenery to match the ladies.

Erin was easy to work with and finished the project much earlier than I expected. I just showed her a few photos of what I liked and she created something beautiful with them.
— Jennifer | Minnesota

At the altar was a table that I designed a swag/garland combination piece for. The center was a spray of Roses, Lilac and greens with long Eucalyptus pieces trailing from both sides. It filled the table nicely without being over the top. The best part is, they were able to use at there reception site for their sweetheart table as well.

Early Fall Silk Wedding Flowers on the Mississippi River - Reveal and Review

It’s such an honor when a friend chooses me to create their custom silk wedding flowers. And today, I get to share my friend with you! I have known Shayna and her family for over 15 years, so being asked to create flowers for her early fall wedding on the Mississippi River was a treat for me! Let’s take a look at some of the beautiful images by her very talented photographer, Nicole Krause Photography.

Shayna’s bouquet was a modified cascade style with a mix of lavender Cabbage Roses, blue Hydrangea and Lilacs, white Garden Roses and Lily of the Valley and Lavender. Several of the flowers were chosen because of special people in the family and I thought that was such a sweet touch.

Shayna’s bridesmaids carried round handtied bouquets with a mix of the bridal flowers. The boutonnieres for the bridal party included Roses, Lavender and Hydrangea in simple styles.

Erin knew exactly what I wanted when I didn’t know! She is so kind, and I am so happy she made my wedding flowers and bridal bouquet. Thank you, Erin!
— Shayna | Minnesota

The setting for the ceremony and reception were so naturally beautiful and they had this awesome arch made for their ceremony. I created two altar arrangements to complement the wedding colors and flowers without taking away from the beauty of the surroundings.

Shayna designed her own table decor and purchased bulk quantities of the flowers to arrange in jars with fairy lights and on the tables. It was the perfect touch of color and florals to tie everything together!

A big thanks to Shayna for trusting me to create her custom silk wedding flowers for her special day. Custom Silk Flower Bridal Bouquet - Reveal and Review

Back in June, I shared Sarah’s custom silk bridal bouquet I made to match her existing bridesmaid bouquets. It was a lovely mix of purple and white flowers with a touch of navy. Her silk bridal bouquet was a loose, round hand-tied style full of white Garden and Cabbage Roses, lavender Garden Roses, medium purple Ranunculus and cabbage Roses, plum tea Roses, Lavender, white Baby’s Breath, Waxflower and Blueberries. I made it nice and lush with adding a variety of greenery, including: Lamb’s Ear, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Standard Eucalyptus and Ruscus. Her accent color was navy, so she chose a satin navy ribbon to finish off her bouquet. Today I get to share a few photos from Sarah’s big day provided by her photographer Emily Anderson Photography. Check her out here on Instagram and here on Facebook.

Erin was wonderful to work with. I sent her some ideas I had in mind for my bridal bouquet and colors. She sent me a mock up super fast and was great at changing out flowers I didn’t like. I loved my bouquet and so happy with how it turned out. I was so afraid of my flowers looking fake and I can contest it was absolutely beautiful and far from looking fake. I would recommend Erin and go to her again for any floral need.

Black, Red and Burgundy Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Michelle’s black, red and burgundy silk wedding flowers were show stoppers. This unique color combination is not one I had worked before and I was super excited because she also wanted some elements that would definitely turn up the glam on her arrangements. These amazing images are by Parker’s Images. Check them out on their website or Facebook! Let’s get a closer look at Michelle’s bouquet!

Michelle’s teardrop cascading silk bridal bouquet was a mix of red and black Garden Roses, dark burgundy Calla Lilies, black Skimmia Berries and a touch of greenery. To crank up the style we added in skinny black feathers and a large black rhinestone broach.

The bridesmaids carried round handtied bouquets with the same mix of flowers and an asymmetrical accent of the skinny black feathers.

Here’s all the handsome men with their boutonnieres. The groom’s boutonniere was a red Spray Rose, Skimmia and feathers with a touch of greenery. We simplified the groomsmen to be just the dark burgundy Calla Lily and some feathers. All bouquets and boutonnieres were finished off with a wine red satin ribbon.

Erin did a fabulous job on our wedding flowers. She was very communitive throughout the whole process and gave progress photos while she worked on them. If I had any changes or requests, she did everything to accommodate them. They look amazing and were very durable. Guests wanted to take my flowers home but we loved them so much we couldn’t part with them. They look very realistic and now we have keepsakes forever. I would 100% recommend Love is Blooming and Erin. She is just the sweetest to work with.

Michelle wanted to incorporate matching flowers into her centerpieces. She already had lanterns, so I designed these small clusters of a red and a black Garden Rose with a little bit of greenery to tie on with matching ribbon.

She wanted a little something more for the head table, so I suggested using a garland with black and red roses dispersed along the length of the garland. It was a great way to add floral arrangements without blocking anyone’s view of the happy couple and the bridal party.

Thanks again to Michelle for sharing her beautiful wedding day photos with us. Are you looking to incorporate this color scheme into your wedding florals? Silk wedding flowers might be the answer. Fill out the Free Bride’s Checklist today for a quote and to send me your ideas!

Bridal Bouquet Recreation - Reveal And Review

Nathan reached out to me to recreate his wife’s beautiful bridal bouquet. It was a mix of salmon, light peach, and blush pink Garden and Spray Roses, two tone Spider Mums, burgundy Carnations, plum Scabiosa, burgundy Astilbe, and a lush mix of Eucalyptus. Let’s take a look at the side-by-side.

My wife absolutely loved the perfect re-creation of her bouquet! Erin was incredible to work with from her communication to her attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with this exceptional keepsake to remember our wedding day!
