Elopement Silk Wedding Flowers Feature

Last week, I featured Sonya’s custom bridal bouquet recreation for her elopement, and it got me thinking! I always assumed that elopements were spur of the moment, which means most traditional wedding details got tossed as you sped off to Vegas. But what I’ve learned over the years is that many couples carefully plan their elopements to really unique locations. Today, I wanted to do a roundup of some elopement flowers that added a special touch to their special day.

First up is Ashlynn’s amazingly cinematic backpacking elopement silk wedding flowers. Read the whole post here!

The next elopement photo I want to share is of a bouquet that I went on to recreate several times for other brides who loved it. Katrina’s cascade bouquet with red center Sunflowers was a big hit! Read all about her Arizone elopement here.

This last feature isn’t technically an elopement, but it’s a unique situation that deserves a reshare! Amanda’s gothic Friday the 13th Minneapolis wedding also included a separate private vow exchange in South Dakota. Custom silk wedding flowers made it possible have picture perfect flowers for both of these important moments! You can read about the Minneapolis ceremony here and the South Dakota adventure here.

Whether you are planning a courthouse elopement or a destination adventure, custom silk wedding flowers are a great alternative to hoping for the best at the nearest flower shop. You can still have a custom piece that can brought along near or far. Reach out to me today to design a beautiful elopement bouquet with me!

Custom Silk Flower Bridal Bouquet - Reveal and Review

Back in June, I shared Sarah’s custom silk bridal bouquet I made to match her existing bridesmaid bouquets. It was a lovely mix of purple and white flowers with a touch of navy. Her silk bridal bouquet was a loose, round hand-tied style full of white Garden and Cabbage Roses, lavender Garden Roses, medium purple Ranunculus and cabbage Roses, plum tea Roses, Lavender, white Baby’s Breath, Waxflower and Blueberries. I made it nice and lush with adding a variety of greenery, including: Lamb’s Ear, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Standard Eucalyptus and Ruscus. Her accent color was navy, so she chose a satin navy ribbon to finish off her bouquet. Today I get to share a few photos from Sarah’s big day provided by her photographer Emily Anderson Photography. Check her out here on Instagram and here on Facebook.

Erin was wonderful to work with. I sent her some ideas I had in mind for my bridal bouquet and colors. She sent me a mock up super fast and was great at changing out flowers I didn’t like. I loved my bouquet and so happy with how it turned out. I was so afraid of my flowers looking fake and I can contest it was absolutely beautiful and far from looking fake. I would recommend Erin and go to her again for any floral need.
