Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Ivory and Blue

Luke contacted me looking for the perfect anniversary gift for his wife. After seeing the photos, I got to work recreating the original bridal bouquet of blue and ivory Hydrangea, Ivory Roses and Spray Roses, ivory berries and greens into her own silk bridal bouquet recreation.

Sometimes it takes a few different photos of the bouquet to get it just right. In this case, the original photo Brandon sent didn’t quite capture the brightness of the blue Hydrangea. A different angle did, so I was able to find a brighter blue Hydrangea and switch it out. I wanted to be sure and get it just right!

How can I get a bridal bouquet recreated into silk wedding flowers?

Several times a week I get a question about silk bridal bouquets similar to the title of this blog post. Whether it’s from a former bride, a husband, a daughter or whoever, they are all on the hunt for the perfect anniversary/Valentine’s/Christmas gift. So if you’re wondering how the process works, here’s a quick rundown about how I make silk wedding flower recreations.

Step 1.

Send me your clearest photos of the bouquet from as many angles as you have. You’d be surprised what might have been hiding in a bouquet that you wouldn’t see from just one photo. Happen to have the invoice from your florist? Bonus points for you if you send that along as well. After I track down all the flowers I would need, I send you an exact cost, including tax and/or shipping so you can make your decision.

Step 2.

After placing the order, wait just a little while for some photos to show up in your inbox. After starting to create the bouquet, I’ll take a few shots so you can see how it’s coming together. That’s the point where I can make minor adjustments to get it juuuuuuust right. Once the ribbon is on, and it’s finished up, you’ll get your final set of photos.

Step 3.

Start planning your big moment, because once your box shows up, you’ll have a hard time waiting to give it to her!

As you can see from these awesome recreations below, they don’t have to look like a traditional, or simple, or common bouquet. If you unusual textures, hard to find flowers, or custom colors, it doesn’t mean it can’t be done! Contact me today to find out how you can get a custom bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers for your upcoming celebration.

Recreating a Reality Show Bridal Bouquet in Silk Wedding Flowers

Tiffany emailed me photos of her tropical destination wedding bridal bouquet to find out if I could recreate it for her with silk wedding flowers. The more I emailed with her, the more interesting things got! You see, Tiffany’s wedding appeared on a reality show called: My Great Big Lifetime Wedding. How cool is that? Armed with the pictures she sent me, her memories from the big day and a list from the florist, I got to work tracking down all the various flowers and tropical greens I would need to recreate this very large, very beautiful bouquet. Take a look!

Scale can be hard to represent in a photo, but this bouquet landed somewhere between “large and in charge” and behemoth.

The bouquet included: pink Protea, orange Orchids, white and blue Tweedea, Ranunculus, Gloriosa lilies, green and white Cymbidium orchids, Monstera leaves, variegated lily grass and a touch of jumbo white heather.

I am so impressed with the recreation of my wedding bouquet that Love is Blooming created for me! It replicates the original bouquet so beautifully! Every time I look at my bouquet it brings me back to my special day! Thank you Erin for helping me to relive my wedding day through your beautiful work. The proteas are my favorite, they stuck out to me on my wedding day bouquet, and they’re my favorite part of my recreated bouquet.

Custom Centerpiece Recreation in Silk Flowers

Kristine contacted me with a request I haven’t gotten before. She wanted a couple of centerpieces from her wedding reception recreated with silk wedding flowers. I loved the idea and was eager to help!

She sent me a couple of photos and gave me a few details from her memory and I got to work. Their wedding was small and intimate, with a roomful of friends and family. They had one banquet table with a large centerpiece in the middle and smaller ones toward the ends. The monochromatic arrangements consisted of Lilies, Spray Roses, Waxflower and Hydrangea. She had clear vases that they would go in, so I trimmed them short and covered the stems with a pretty lace. Take a look!

I was looking all over trying to find someone to recreate my wedding flowers from my table. I googled someplace to recreate floral arrangements
and came across loveisblooming. Erin answered my questions quickly. Pricing is very reasonable ! Erin was willing to work with me when I had some financial hardship. She also found one of my vases that I tried to find at Michaels and online. Absolutely amazing ! Every step of the way she has kept me informed, sent photos, and has been incredible to work with! I am so thankful for her! Now I can recreate my table in my dining room and relive my wedding dinner ! I will definitely use her again!

Lavender Rose and Lisianthus Bridal Bouquet Recreation

Wedding bouquets are a big part of the big day. Even years later, Erik and his wife still remember the colors and arrangement of the wedding flowers she carried down the isle. As an anniversary gift, Erik requested a recreation in silk to last as long as the memory will. Here’s another awesome bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers.

Erik’s wife’s bouquet featured lavender Roses, darker purple Lisianthus and white Stephanotis. I tied it off with a simple satin Antique White ribbon wrap. So sweet and a great reminder of a special day for them. If you are looking for an anniversary gift, look no further! Contact me today about a bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers.

Wedding Bouquet Recreation with Succulents

Succulents are a trend that’s sticking around. You know what else is sticking around? This bouquet! Ryan contacted me for free quote for a bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers. This one was a stunner! You can see from my photos that it featured vibrant colors along with awesome textures.

White Anemone with blue centers, blue Anemone, ivory Roses, ivory Hydrangea, dark purple Calla Lilies, plum Delphinium, Succulents, and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus.

This was new to me, but apparently it’s a thing! Ryan requested a “hidden Mickey” on the handle of the bouquet. It’s basically 3 pins making the shape of Mickey’s head. Adorable!

Blush and Mauve Bridal Bouquet Recreation

Amy sent me a couple photos of her bridal bouquet. It was gorgeous and full of all sorts of beautiful flowers. She also sent me an invoice from her florist that listed some of the possible flowers that would appear in her bouquet. From that list I was able to track down just the right shades and shapes of blush and mauve Roses, Ranunculus, and Eucalyptus. Take a look!

When I received my recreated bouquet in the mail and opened it, it literally took me back to the wedding day when I first saw my bouquet. It is spectacular! Erin is extremely talented and I am so pleased to be able to enjoy this every day
— Amy | California

These two photos are a great example of why I usually ask for extra details. Amy sent me the second photo to give me a more accurate look at the colors of her flowers. That photo was great for that, but not for seeing the general shape of her bouquet, so I kind of hopped back and forth between both photos during the construction process.

Whether it’s your bouquet that got moldy when it was dried or a gift for your sweetheart to remind her of your wedding day, a bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers is a great choice! Contact me today for a free quote.

Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation and Substitutions

When Christopher emailed me photos of his wife’s bouquet, I knew I was up for a challenge. The colors and variety of flower were stunningly beautiful, but also unique. There were peachy roses, a bit of ivory Hydrangea, pink/purple Waxflower, Veronica, tropical grass and greenery, a teal accent flower and the elusive Leucodendron. I knew there were going to be a couple of items that were going to be tricky to find for this silk bridal bouquet recreation, and in the end a substitution would need to be made. But take a look at the end result of this awesome bouquet recreation!

This bouquet was both a unique shape and composition and one that challenged me in some new and exciting ways! I couldn’t find the right shape of rose bud, so I found a peony bud that made the perfect stand in. Then, that Leucodendron stared me down in all it’s burgundy glory. I couldn’t find one that was the right size or color, so I put on my crafty thinking cap and came up with a plan. To get it just right, I had to piece together several of the same type of flower and dye it to the right shade to get just the right look. Sometimes it takes some extra creativity, but it’s always worth it in the end!

This stunner made it’s way to a military base in Japan for a sweet anniversary gift! If you are looking for just the right anniversary gift, a bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers is absolutely the right choice! And if you’re worried about a unique design or flower getting in the way, fear not! Contact me today for more information!

Emily’s bridal bouquet was beautiful, interesting and so romantic! Roses, Orchids, Freesia, Mums and Ruscus made this elegant bouquet so soft looking and very, well, bridal! Take a look at this amazing bouquet!

Thank you so much Erin! I absolutely love my bouquet and I’m so glad I was able to find you and your services!

I had my original bouquet on display at my house but of course after a while, since it was dried, it definitely did not look nearly as pretty as it did on my wedding day and was starting to make me feel sad. I’m so happy with how the one you recreated for me turned out - it’s as beautiful as the original from my wedding and makes me so happy to see it everyday!

Bridal Bouquet Recreation in Silk Flowers

Unless you are the bride ordering your custom bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers, some of the details may escape you. And that’s ok! There’s a couple of options if you can’t quite remember what color the ribbon was or the exact type of every little flower. In MacKenzie’s case, his mother actually built his bride’s bouquet, so he was able to pass along my questions and find out those details that would make a difference. Don’t have your mom to ask? Contact the original florist, search your emails for an invoice, or ask a bridesmaid who might be able to recall those details you are seeking out.

Here’s the bouquet!

Lilies, roses and baby’s breath. Simple, beautiful, elegant!

It was so helpful to get MacKenzie’s feedback on what was in the bouquet. For instance, from this photo, I couldn’t tell there was a small stargazer lily at the back of the bouquet. MacKenzie was able to give me a run down of all that was in the bouquet as well as the fact that the ribbon was a light pink, not coral as it appeared in his photos.

Scottish Destination Wedding Silk Bridal Bouquet Recreation

Ryan contacted me hoping to have his wife’s bouquet recreated for their early October anniversary. They were married in Scotland and the venue had used its own garden to create her beautiful bridal bouquet. She was unable to bring it back to the states with her because of those pesky air travel regulations and was understandably disappointed. So Ryan set out to surprise her with a silk recreation. Her original bouquet included ivory Roses, Scottish Thistle, Veronica, Baby’s breath, Freesia, Fern, and some small blue berries. It was a stunner!

How romantic is this?! This bouquet was such a beauty and I loved getting to remake a piece of their special day.
