Blue and Coral Beach Theme Silk Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

Happy New Year! We are just heading into the long winter months here in Minnesota, and I needed a bright spot today. So I’m sharing an awesome beach themed wedding to remind me that summer will be here, eventually! The great thing about beach theme weddings is that the colors are usually bright and happy, the setting is always amazing, and it’s so fun to see less traditional settings for a wedding. This is why I’m excited to share Brandy’s blue and coral beach theme silk wedding flowers with you today! Her wedding took place in Oregon, and she had these amazing photos taken on Rockaway Beach. I guess I have a new addition to my list of “hope to visit” places! Let’s take a look at her lovely custom silk wedding flowers, photographed by Amanda Brewer Portrait Photography.

Here’s our happy couple! Brandy had a vision for a modified cascade bouquet that featured Stargazer Lilies and Calla Lilies. I was able to find the perfect blue Stargazers and coral Calla Lilies. We also added in some blue Delphinium to match the bridesmaid dresses, some white Mini Daisies, beige Baby’s Breath (a nod to the sand) and then we added in some seashell accents for a well rounded beach themed bouquet.

Look at these lovely ladies! Brandy’s bridesmaids wore beautiful blue dresses that worked perfectly with the flowers. They carried round handtied bouquets that featured all the same flowers and of course some seashells for that extra special touch.

When I first was trying to decide if I wanted to order flowers I was on the fence for a while. I had a vision of what I wanted but I couldn’t pull it together. Erin was absolutely amazing and from all my rambling messages gave me the most incredible bouquet I could have ever imagined. I can’t thank you enough!

Happy Yellow, White and Blue Silk Wedding Flowers - Review

Tori’s wedding isn’t until 2026, but girl is on her game and wanted to check things off her list! She placed her order for a happy yellow, white and blue bridal bouquet and matching groom’s boutonniere. The thing about smaller orders is, they move really quickly. I was able to get her arrangement shipped out as soon as she wanted! Let’s take a look at these happy, bright custom silk wedding flowers!

Tori’s bouquet is a mix of blue Hydrangea (to will match what her bridesmaids will wear on the big day), deep yellow Roses, white mini Daisies, white Freesia and white Baby’s Breath. Her bouquet is a cross between a round ball and a more loose handtied style bouquet. It has a nice form to it, but those little Freesia and Baby’s Breath that break from the structure make it super interesting to look at. And each flower gets its own moment! We matched the ribbon to the Hydrangea and tied it off with a classic bow.

The groom’s boutonniere was designed to match the bouquet. That yellow rose steals the show, but is complemented by a touch of blue and white. She loved the idea of yellow ribbon for him, so that’s how we finished off the look!

Love is Blooming is the BEST place to get your silk flowers for your wedding. Erin the owner and silk florist is fantastic. She is so knowledgeable about her flowers and truly has a gift! Her attention to detail is spot on and the care she puts into her craft is evident. I highly recommend Love is Blooming for all your silk flower needs.

Backpacking with a Silk Bridal Bouquet- Part 1

You may remember this wedding I did a few months ago for a bride and her crew that were hiking into the Northwoods of Minnesota for their wedding. I thought that was such an interesting concept and was surprised again to book a job for a silk bridal bouquet and boutonniere that was also going to be backpacking to their ceremony site for an elopement. This time it was in Rocky Mountain National Park. Ashlynn wanted her bouquet to be lush and filled with color and texture for a wildflower look. We talked through her ideas, looked at inspiration photos and came up with a pretty long list of things to include. You can see from my photos that every square inch of this bouquet had something interesting in it!

Fern, Thistle, Ranunculus, Forget-Me-Nots, Roses, Daisies, Mini Daisies, Larkspur, Queen Anne’s Lace, Red berries, Columnea, Lavender Seeds, mixed Greens and the kitchen sink! Can’t you just imagine this strapped to a backpack on its way to a mountain top ceremony?

The groom’s boutonniere was a toast colored Rose bud with mini Daisies, a touch of Fern and greens and finished off with twine for a rustic look. Perfect for the great outdoors! Ashlynn wanted her bouquet wrapped in lace which I think matched really well to all the texture in her bouquet.
