Today’s custom bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers feature is a really fun one to share because of the finished product. I mean, I guess they are all fun to share because of the finished product. But today’s is more about the display than usual! A number of bouquet recreations have gone on to be displayed in unique ways like this shadowbox example, this memento shadowbox, or flower and invitation keepsake display. But this is the first time where a wedding dress has been featured with a bouquet recreation! First let’s take a look at the custom bridal bouquet recreation alongside the original provided by photos by Ashley’s family friend, Britney.
Ashley’s bouquet was a dramatic cascading beauty with a mix of red Garden Roses, pink Spray Roses, a single lavender Rose and lots of Seeded and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Ruscus. It was a stunner!
She also commissioned me to recreate the groom’s boutonniere which was a simple arrangement of two white spray roses, seeds and matching greenery with a touch of white satin ribbon.
But here’s the cool part! When Ashley ordered the bouquet, they were working on a remodel of their house, including a custom display case for her wedding dress! They created a place at the top to display the bouquet along with her dress for a lovely vignette for their special pieces!
“I hadn’t thought about preserving my wedding bouquet until after we got back from our honeymoon which was to late. I am SO glad I found Erin, this was an amazing piece of work for something I thought was lost. I was able to put it with my wedding dress display.”
