I love today’s color palette of white, dusty pink and nude silk wedding flowers! Ardyn came to me with this classic mix of soft romantic colors, and we got to work designing her flowers together. Whether you come to me with an exact idea of what you’re looking for or really only know your colors, you get to co-design with me to pick out the flowers you like best, the shape of your bouquet and even the ribbon color! I know I’ve said it lots of times before, but I don’t want you to experience any (unfun) floral surprises for your wedding day. Custom silk wedding flowers allow you to know exactly what you are walking down the aisle with on your big day! *Puts soapbox away* Ok, back to Ardyn’s romantic, soft and classic silk wedding flowers. Let’s take a look at her lovely photos from the very talented Documented by Devyn!
The bridal bouquet was a loose handtied style with a mix of nude, white and dusty pink Garden Roses, Seeds, white Delphinium, small Eucalyptus and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus finished off with Chardonnay colored satin ribbon. The groom’s boutonniere was a dusty pink Garden Rose, seeds, white Delphinium flower and greens finished off with matching ribbon.
Ardyn’s bridesmaid carried a smaller version of her bouquet and the groomsman had a white rose bud with dusty pink accent flowers and greens. Simple but complementary!
For their ceremony, they had a lovely hoop/arch that she wanted some arrangements to attach to. We went with an asymmetrical look with one larger piece and one smaller piece. I love how it was a simple design overall but added some softness to the space. And of course they matched the bridal party’s flowers wonderfully.
“I wanted high-quality silk flowers for my wedding since I’m pretty allergic to real flowers. I was nervous after having to return the flowers I received from another company because they were not the colors I had asked for. Erin was very communicative at each step of the process and sent me photos so I knew up front what I was getting and what the flowers would look like. She did an incredible job and the flowers turned out to be absolutely perfect and just what I was envisioning! Highly recommend!”
I know I’m always harping on this, but make your flowers work double duty if you can! In their case, they were able to use that same hoop arch for behind their sweetheart table which looks amazing! And as you can see on the table, Ardyn used her bouquet for table decor that filled everything out nicely with the candles and greenery.
