Many brides, myself included, find themselves planning a wedding from afar. When Sheree reached out to me, she shared that she was planning her Minnesota wedding from Canada. That certainly adds a layer of complication for some vendors, but it’s no problem when you’re ordering custom silk wedding flowers! Part of my process includes sending photos of specific flower and greenery options to help narrow down your favorites. And while I can’t give you an exact model of what your bouquet will look like, I have a wealth of photos on my blog for anyone to peruse. It’s a great source for seeing different shapes, color combinations, how silk flowers look in professional photos and to be inspired! Sheree and I worked over email for a while, and we also planned an in-person consultation for a future visit. We were able to meet, discuss options, and finalize her designs in person. But if that’s not an option for you, don’t fret! About 60% of the weddings I do are from a distance, so you’ll be in good company!

Let me introduce you to Sheree, my delightful and beautiful bride! She was so fun to work with and was open to suggestion for bridal bouquet. What we landed on was a mix of Ranunculus, Anemone, Mums, Delphinium, Cosmos, Astilbe, Thistle, Blueberries, Lamb’s Ear and Eucalyptus. I really loved the contrast of the dark Anemone centers and the Blueberries against the white and dusty blue.
The groom’s boutonniere feature an Anemone, blue Cosmos and Lamb’s Ear.
Ben and Sheree had a small bridal party. Her bridesmaid carried a clutch style bouquet with a Ranunculus, Delphinium, Lamb's Ear, Thistle and a touch of Eucalyptus. The groomsman’s boutonniere was a Ranunculus, Thistle and Lamb's Ear.
Sheree wanted coordinating flowers for the reception area. I designed a small spray for the head table along with small centerpieces for the guest tables. It brought a her colors along with her floral and greenery elements to the reception area in a very classy way.
I didn’t make the flower girl wands, but I wanted to show you what Sheree created! She purchased some extra flowers and crafted these adorable flower girl heart wands for the girls to carry. I love that these personalized wands are an accent to her wedding and a sweet gift to the flower girls.
