Silk Wedding Flower Arrangement Feature: Bridesmaid Bouquets Part 1

Last month, I talked a bit about custom silk bridal bouquets, and this month, I’m shining the spotlight on Bridesmaid Bouquets! When considering how to design your bridesmaid bouquets, a good starting point is to decide whether you want them to “match” your bridal bouquet or stand alone. What does it mean to match the bridal bouquet?

  • I can make them as smaller versions of your bouquet.

  • It can incorporate a simplified mix of what is in the bridal bouquet.

  • You can pick one flower or color only from the bridal bouquet and build their bouquets around it

Let’s take a look at some bouquets that show what I’m talking about. This first example shows bouquets that are just smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

These bridesmaid bouquets feature all of the same flowers except the rust orange Roses that we featured in the bridal bouquet. As you can see, they still match but allow the bridal bouquet to stand out a little more.

The bridesmaid bouquets from this wedding featured one flower with greenery in a clutch style bouquet.

This next example is from one of my very first weddings that I ever created! Bridget had wanted the bridesmaid bouquets to match the dress color of each bridesmaid. This is a great visual of what it would look like for your bridesmaid bouquets to be different from your bouquet and to stand alone.

After sharing this much, I realized I haven’t even made it to talking about different shapes and styles of silk flower bridal bouquets. Check back later for Part 2 and an overview of the different shapes of bouquets!
