Fairy Tale Themed Silk Bridal Bouquet

When you hear about Fairy Tale Themed weddings, you might think, but where do they get the friendly woodland creatures to surround them on their magical day?? Ok, so maybe that’s just what I think of ;) How about a wedding held outdoors at the very unique Minnesota Rennaissance Festival for that dreamy, fairy tale wedding? That is where bride Sarah is headed later this summer for her enchanting ceremony with these silk wedding flowers.

This awesomely big bouquet was filled with a variety of textures and colors. It incorporated ivory Roses, lavender Cabbage Roses, plum Peonies, Lavender sprigs, lavender and wisteria Heather, lavender Hydrangea, Ivy and Eucalyptus.

Sarah liked the idea of wrapping the handle with two different colors of ribbon. I used a classic ballet tie with an Antique White base with Lavender satin criss-crossed over the top. It felt like the beginnings of a bouquet fit for royalty, but adding in a bunch of ribbon streamers seemed like the perfect way to make a bouquet fit for a princess.

Lantern Centerpiece Wedding Idea with Silk Flowers

Jean contacted me to help her figure out an arrangement design for some lanterns for her daughter’s centerpieces. She found the perfect red Ranunculus and dusty/sage greenery and I came up with this simple but classy design made with silk wedding flowers.

Bows can look outdated and heavy. But by keeping it a simpler, two-loop bow with antique white satin ribbon, it really dressed up the arrangement and provided a nice contrast to the black metal lanterns.

Lavender Rose and Lisianthus Bridal Bouquet Recreation

Wedding bouquets are a big part of the big day. Even years later, Erik and his wife still remember the colors and arrangement of the wedding flowers she carried down the isle. As an anniversary gift, Erik requested a recreation in silk to last as long as the memory will. Here’s another awesome bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers.

Erik’s wife’s bouquet featured lavender Roses, darker purple Lisianthus and white Stephanotis. I tied it off with a simple satin Antique White ribbon wrap. So sweet and a great reminder of a special day for them. If you are looking for an anniversary gift, look no further! Contact me today about a bridal bouquet recreation in silk flowers.
