Fall Jewel Tone Silk Wedding Flowers
I loved this color palette for April’s jewel toned silk wedding flowers. Her original plan was to include burgundy, plum, dusty blue and burnt orange in her arrangements and bridal bouquet. But when we got everything together, the orange stood out way too much for her and her fiance’s liking. So with a bit of editing and rearranging, we landed on these amazing, textural, bouquets full of depth and color. Take a look!
April’s bridal bouquet was a modified cascade style with a mix of plum Ranunculus, burgundy Peonies, dusty blue Thistle, ivory Spray Roses, burgundy Lamb’s Ear and Eucalyptus and seeded Eucalyptus.
The bridesmaids bouquets were a bit smaller with most of the same elements, but we left out the Spray roses and tied them off with matching burgundy ribbon. April was able to direct me to swatches of the bridesmaid dress color, so I was able to match almost exactly the Peonies and the ribbon to their dress color. The toss bouquet was a variation of the bridal with the addition of some burgundy Baby’s Breath and tied off with the same ribbon as the bridal bouquet.
We matched the ribbon on the boutonnieres to the corresponding bouquets. The wrist corsages incorporated a little bit of each color and some greenery and the mothers’ got some bling to set them apart.
If you are looking for jewel toned flowers for your fall or winter wedding, silk flowers are a great choice!
