Customizing Silk Wedding Flowers from and Inspiration Photos
Usually bride’s who contact me have an idea of what they like, as was the case with Kim. She was interested in a silk bridal bouquet with ivory Roses, Baby’s Breath and pink carnations with some bling. I sent her the link to this bouquet to give her an example of the bling I could do and she ended up loving the bouquet itself! We adjusted the colors a bit so that her bouquet was mainly ivory and blush pink and gave the big pops of pink to the bridesmaids who would be wearing black dresses.
The bridesmaid bouquets were a mix of ivory Roses, fuchsia, bright pink and blush pink Peonies, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus with Azalea colored satin ribbon.
Kim wanted a custom piece for her altar. I created this swag to lay on the table at the front of her ceremony site. I incorporated mixed greens, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, ivory Roses and Peonies, and blush pink, fuchsia and bright pink peonies.
The boutonnieres were a combination of flowers and colors for a cohesive look. The groom’s bout was an ivory Rose bud, with blush pink accent, bright pink mini Peony, a sprig of Eucalyptus and antique white ribbon to match the bridal bouquet. Kim also wanted the groom’s bout to have a tiny bit of bling so I lined the top and the bottom of the stem with a thin strip of rhinestones. The groomsmen bouts were an ivory rose, mini Peony, Eucalyptus and the same color ribbon as the bridesmaid bouquets. We kept the fathers’ boutonnieres simple with an ivory Rose bud, sprig of Eucalyptus and blush pink ribbon.
The two mothers’ corsages were wrist style with spray Roses, mini Peonies, blush accent, Eucalyptus, a small spray of rhinestones and blush pink ribbon.
