Burgundy, White and Green Winter Wedding Flowers - Reveal and Review

I know it’s just newly spring, but if you looked around outside here in Minnesota, it still looks like a winter wonderland. So in the spirit of sucking it up, here’s a lovely winter wedding to share with you! Bride Kasey was looking for burgundy, white and green winter silk wedding flowers. I love to do winter bouquets because you can do some unique mixes of greenery, and it’s always a fun challenge to keep them from looking too Christmas-y. Kasey sent me some lovely photos by her very talented photographer Sapphire Heart Photography. Let’s take a look!

Kasey’s bridal bouquet was a round handtied style with a mix of white Garden and Cabbage Roses, burgundy Dahlia and Astilbe, white Seeds, Dusty Miller, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Cedar. It was lush, a little wild, and perfect for her wedding day.

She wanted her bouquet to stand out from the rest, so for the bridesmaids we simplified the look to include only white Garden and Cabbage Roses with seeds and the same mix of greenery. They really popped against their dark green velvet dresses!

Are you looking for winter wedding flowers that don’t include Poinsettia’s or Pine? Or are you working around another holiday season that you don’t want to match too closely to? Silk flowers are a great option because we can talk through the designs, make some tweaks and get things just right with flowers in hand weeks ahead of your big day. If you like the sound of that, fill out the Free Bride’s Checklist to start the design process with me!
